It was her national award winning sophomore flick Joker helmed by director Raju Murugan that put her in the limelight. Her impressive performance in the movie was received with critical acclamations. Following the success of the flick, the actress tried to mix it up with her bold role in Aan Devathai in which she essayed the role of a mother. Then went on to star in Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum in which she shared the screen space with actress Vani Bhojan.
