Actor Bose Venkat last graced the silver screens in the crime thriller drama Chellamada Nee Enakku crafted by director Anand Shivam with actors Vashikaran, Neha Sri, and Amudhavaanan in lead roles. The Indian Penal Law actor is now gearing up for a release in the digital space via the family entertainer Brothers And Sisters. Director Chidambaram Manivannan, who has delivered web series like Vera Maari Office and Police Police, has been in the director’s chair for the drama.
Writer A C Karnamurthy has conceptualized and molded the screenplay of the series. Brothers And Sisters, is all set to premiere on Jio Hotstar from 27th of May. The makers have already begun to promote the series. They had recently dropped a promo from the entertainer on social media. They have now released the second promo from the series.

The two minute odd promo of Brothers And Sisters starts with actor Bose Venkat flirtatiously talking to a woman on a call, “Girija . . . It is our daughter’s birthday. Love you, sweetheart.” His son overhears the convo and thinks to himself, “Girija? No one in our house has a birthday today. Love you?” He instantly texts about the convo in the siblings group. The siblings have a discussion among themselves.
One of his daughters says, “Is our dad really like this?” Another daughter chimes in, “I cannot believe this.” The eldest daughter swears, “I am a lawyer. Do you know how many people I have separated? Don’t I know? You guys are just kids. I will handle this.” The shot cuts to actor Bose Venkat again talking on the phone, “Girija . . . I will buy a cake and be right there . . . I am coming now. You guys stay ready.”
His eldest daughter listens to the convo and hatches a plan, “You can only talk to Girija if you actually have a phone . . .” She adds laxatives to milk and punctures his bike tyre. She then knocks on his room door. Bose Venkat opens the door and asks, “What is it, dear?” She tells him, “You have not eaten anything at all. At least drink this milk before you go.” He responds, “I am heading out. I will eat there.”
She pleads; he accepts and receives the glass of milk. Meanwhile, she steals his mobile. While searching for it, he informs someone on a call, “I could not find my other phone, that is what I was looking for. I am leaving now . . . I will be there exactly in time to cut the cake.” She listens to this and says, “Hey pops, you seriously have two phones? Wait, is that milk not doing its thing yet?’ We hear someone shouting, “Oh god, I cannot take it! Oh no . . .”
The shot pans to her brother moaning, “I do not know what they mixed in that milk, but my stomach is churning!” She enquired him, “Which milk did you drink?” He replies, “Dad gave it to me, so I drank it, sister.” She informs him, “Oh no! Why did you drink that? I mixed laxatives in it!” He starts to scream, “You monster! You murderer!” Meanwhile, Bose Venkat takes an auto.
One of the sisters asks her, “Is this the master plan you came up with? He is leaving.” They tail him and reach the destination. There they witness him enjoying and celebrating the birthday function. Witnessing this they swear to unite so that they could separate their dad and Girija. The promo ends with them promising to do it for their mom.
Casting unit of Brothers And Sisters also comprises actors Nikhila Sankar, Raj Ayappa M, Gayathri Shastry, Siddharth Babu, Sravnitha Srikanth, Pramodini Pammi, Namritha M V, Priyadarshan, and Kishore. Music director D Imman has been contracted to score music for the venture. Cinematographer Manikandan Ramamoorthy has been behind camera for the project.
Editors Sri Nethaji and John Alaudeen have worked in tandem to bring coherence to the venture. Art director Vasu Dhevan has erected sets for the drama. Action director R Sakthi Saravanan has fashioned action blocks for the flick. Brothers And Sisters, is bankrolled by B Srinivasan under the banner house Vikatan Televistas.
On the professional side, actor Bose Venkat will soon be seen on screens in Lenin Pandiyan crafted by D D Balachandran in which he has performed alongside actors Gangai Amaran, Dharshan Ganesan, & VJ Archana, and Ananthan Kaadu directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar in which he has partnered with actors Arya, Nikhila Vimal, & Regina Cassandra.
