Actor Arjun Sarja had a release last year in the action thriller drama Theeyavar Kulai Nadunga crafted by Dinesh Lakshmanan with actress Aishwarya Rajesh in the female lead role. The Vidaamuyarchi actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming Tamil Kannada bilingual action thriller film titled Blast. Newbie story teller Subash K Raj, erstwhile assistant of Pradeep Ranganathan who served as an AD in Love Today, has written and helmed the drama.
Actress Preity Mukhundhan of Star fame has depicted the female lead role in the entertainer. Veteran actress Abhirami will be seen in a pivotal part in the drama. The production house has already announced that the entertainer will be arriving in theaters worldwide on 28th of May. In the meantime, they have begun to promote the movie across all platforms. As part of it, they have shared the first single from the album on social media.

Singer Rohith Siddappa has lent his voice for the number. Lyricist Chethan Handattu has penned the lyrics of the track. The song is mixed by Ravi Basrur and mastered by Kishor Sathala. Kannada music composer Ravi Basrur has been roped in to handle musical instruments for the movie.
Apart from Arjun Sarja, Abhirami, and Preity Mukhundhan, the star cast of the movie also has actors John Kokken, Dileepan, Pawan, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, Bala Hasan, Vinod Sagar, and S Rajapandi depicting various supporting characters. Cinematographer Arun Radhakrishnan has taken care of the cinematography department of the flick.
Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been hired to work on the editing division of the drama. Art director Veeramani Ganesan has fashioned the background for the flick. Action director Phoenix Prabu has designed action blocks for the film. The venture is backed by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the production label AGS Entertainment.
On the professional side, actress Preity Mukhundhan is eagerly expecting the release of Idhayam Murali scripted by Aakash Baskaran & Senthil Kumar Kesavan in which she will be seen alongside actor Atharva Murali, and a Hindi film Naagzilla crafted by Mrighdeep Lamba in which she has romanced actor Kartik Aaryan. The actress is now busy with her future drama tentatively titled AS 23 helmed by Karthikeyan Ramakrishnan in which she will be teaming up with actor Ashok Selvan, Dashamakan directed by Vineeth Varaprasad in which she will be collaborating with actor Harish Kalyan, and a Telugu flick Emo Emo Idi filmed by Sailesh Kolanu in which she will be associating with actor Roshann Meka.
On the other hand, actress Abhirami is currently busy shooting for her next untitled venture directed by story teller Chinnasamy Ponnaiah in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Gautham Ram Karthik and Ananthika Sanilkumar.
