Actor Naveen Chandra last graced the silver screens in the investigative crime thriller drama titled Eleven which got released on 16th of May this year. He was seen in the role of a cop named Aravind/Francis. Newbie director Lokkesh Ajls, who assisted story teller Sundar C in ventures like Kalakalappu 2 and Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, had penned and directed the movie. The entertainer was launched as a Tamil Telugu bilingual film.
Producer and actress Reyaa Hari of Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal fame had played the female lead named Sanjana in the movie. Veteran actress Abhirami had portrayed a character that goes by Shanthi in the flick. The venture was tagged with mixed reviews by critics. It ended up collecting 6.8 crores at the box office.
Now we have news that the drama is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video OTT platform on 13th of June this year. There are also speculations that the project will simultaneously be available for streaming on Tentkotta OTT platform. Eleven revolves around an astute and honest police officer with impeccable track record handed with a sensational case involving a serial killer, and his endeavor to bring him to justice.
Apart from Naveen Chandra, Reyaa Hari, and Abhirami, the casting crew of the drama also has actors Aadukalam Naren, Shashank, Riythvika Panneerselvam, Dileepan, Kireeti Damaraju, Ravi Varma, and Arjai playing various other supporting roles. Music director D Imman has taken care of the musical division of the entertainer. The album contains four numbers: ‘The devil is waiting’, ‘Azhagaana Arakkana’, ‘Ikkada Raa’, and ‘Vidiyaatha Vaanam Yenga Pochu’.
Cinematographer Karthik Ashokan has overseen the cinematography department of the venture. Editor N B Srikanth has brought coherence to the entertainer. Art director P L Subenthar has erected sets for the film. Action director Phoenix Prabhu has choreographed action blocks for the flick. The movie is backed by Ajmal Khan and Reyaa Hari along with M Gopalakrishna under the production house AR Entertainment.
On the work front, actor Naveen Chandra will soon have a slew of releases in Telugu cinema via Mass Jathara crafted by Bhanu Bhogavarapu in which he has featured alongside actors Ravi Teja, Navya Swamy, & Sreeleela, Show Time filmed by Madhan Dhakshinamoorthy in which he has romanced actress Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Scam scripted by director Naga Venkatesh in which he has shared screen space with actresses Archana, Monica, Keerthi Chawla, & Oviya Helen, and Chandamama Raave helmed by storyteller Dharma in which he will be seen alongside actress Priyal Gor.
