Karthick Naren’s Nirangal Moondru Trailer Looks Refreshing!

Director Karthick Naren who made his debut in Tamil cinema with the critically acclaimed neo noir crime thriller Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, ran into financial trouble with his sophomore project Naragasooran, which got delayed. Hence, actor Dhanush starrer Maaran happened to be his next directorial. Unfortunately, the entertainer did not live up to the expectations of the audience, and had a bad business. The director has moved on, and is now gearing up for the release of his next drama Nirangal Moondru. Actors Atharvaa Murali, Rahman, and Sarath Kumar have played lead roles in the drama. The dubbing work of Nirangal Moondru was completed earlier this year. 

Now, the production house has shared the trailer of the flick on social media. Director Karthick Naren himself has shared the trailer. Taking to his official twitter account, the director dropped a poster from the flick along with a link to the trailer of Nirangal Moondru, and wrote, “Presenting the trailer of ‘Nirangal Moondru’ – A hyperlink thriller. A script very close to my heart!” Here is the post made by the story teller.

Two and a half minutes long trailer opens to actor Atharvaa Murali rolling a joint. Smoking it, he goes on to say, “Screenplay time. A tiny beetle, unaware of the abyss of life, on its usual way back home from the tuition, witnesses an incident. At the same time, a hard working and aspiring filmmaker receives good news! On the same day, a corrupt police officer subtly faces an incident that questions his integrity. Ultimately, a professor who preaches to the world is met with a moment that shakes down his beliefs. Okay, now tell me, where’s this story leading? Who do we trust in this story? Hey . . . who’s the narrator of this story?” Earlier talking about Nirangal Moondru to a leading media house in the state, producer K Karunamoorthy said, “Nirangal Moondru is a hyperlink movie with Karthick Naren’s touch to it. The film holds a lot of surprises powered by strong characters for the viewers. I am certain that the audience will love it.” 

Apart from actors Atharvaa Murali, Rahman, and Sarath Kumar, the casting division of Nirangal Moondru has actors Dushyanth Jayaprakash, Chinni Jayanth, and John Vijay portraying various other supporting parts. Actor Rahman once again teamed up with director Karthick Naren after Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. Music director Jakes Bejoy has composed music for the entertainer. Cinematographer Tijo Tomy has handled the cinematography department of the drama. Editor Sreejith Sarang has been brought on board to edit the flick. Stuntman Don Ashok has choreographed action moves for the project. The entertainer is produced by K Karunamoorthy under the production house Ayngaran International. 

On the work front, actor Atharvaa Murali who was last seen on screens in the action-drama Pattathu Arasan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming project christened Vanangaan directed by storyteller Bala in which he will be collaborating with actress Krithi Shetty. Apart from these movies, the actor has Othaikku Oththa filmed by director Barnesh in which he has shared screen space with actress Vidya Pradeep, Address helmed by storyteller Raja Mohan, Thanal helmed by Ravindra Madhava in which he has romanced actress Lavanya Tripathi, and Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu crafted by Raja Mohan in which he will be seen alongside actress Pooja Jhaveri, in various stages of post-production getting shaped for release. On the other hand, actor Rahman who had his last outing in Tamil in Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 is currently busy shooting for his next Malayalam drama titled Ethire under the direction of director Amal K Joby in which he will be co starring with actor Gokul Suresh, for Samara scripted by Charles Joseph, and for Blue filmed by Venu Nair in which he will be associating with actress Aparna Nair. 

Actor Sarath Kumar who was last seen on screens in Varisu is gearing up for the release of the second installment of Ponniyin Selvan 2. The actor is currently busy shooting for his next flick christened The Smile Man scripted by Syam and Praveen, for Paramporul helmed by C Aravind Raj in which he will be co starring with actor Amitash Pradhan, and for an untitled movie crafted by Dakshinamoorthy Ramar in which he will be sharing the screen space with actor Gautham Karthick. Apart from these ventures, the actor has his long-delayed Tamil movie Rendavathu Aattam filmed by Prithvi Adithya, and Kannada drama Raymo crafted by Pavan Wadeyar awaiting release.
