Janhvi Kapoor, Daughter of seasoned producer Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi, has celebrated her 27th birthday. As a birthday gift to her fans, she has been confirmed as the leading lady in Ram Charan’s next movie tentatively titled RC16. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the highly anticipated rural sports drama is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The announcement was made officially by Mythri Movie Makers on their Social Media Handle X. The movie marks her second outing in the Telugu industry as she has already signed up for Junior NTR’s “Devara” directed by Koratala Siva.

Director Buchi Babu Sana has spent four years crafting his script which has got Kabbadi as a backdrop. The project is all set to commence very soon and further updates about the cast and crew are expected in the coming days. Her father Boney Kapoor hinted about this in an interview way back in December. Incidentally, she is paired opposite to both the heroes of “RRR”. Apart from “Devera” which is all set to hit screens by October this year she also has “Ulajh ”, “Mr and Mrs Mahi” and “Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl”.
She is also waiting for his upcoming release “Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” a romance entertainer starring opposite to Varun Dhawan and bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Directed by Shashank Khaitan the project is all set to hit screens for April 25 this year.
