Actor G V Prakash Kumar last graced the silver screens in the crime thriller Blackmail filmed by Mu Maran with actresses Teju Ashwini and Bindu Madhavi as female leads. The Selfie actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming project christened Immortal. Debutant director Mariyappan Chinna has written and directed the entertainer.
Actress Kayadu Lohar of Dragon fame has been cast as the female lead in the venture. The shoot for the film is wrapped. The entertainer was shot across various locations in Chennai and Kerala. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be made soon. Meanwhile, the production house has now dropped the teaser of the movie on social media.
Taking to his official X account, actor G V Prakash Kumar dropped the teaser of Immortal and worded, “Here is Immortal teaser for all of u . . . the mystery world unveils now . . . Kayadu Lohar, AK film factory, Maari Chinna.” Here is the post made by the actor.
One minute teaser of Immortal opens with actor G V Prakash Kumar asking his friend, “Dude, how would it be if a handsome guy like me, and a beautiful girl share different rooms in a house?” His friend replies, “It would frustrate many.” Then we witness G V Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar living in a house.
In a scene actor G V Prakash Kumar asks her, “Would you mistake me if I ask you something?” She quips, “You are anyway going to ask something inappropriate. Tell me.” Then we have a few montage shots of her trying to entice G V Prakash Kumar.
Subsequently we see the actor using double entendre on her, “I want to carry you . . .” She intrudes, “Carry me and do what?” G V Prakash Kumar deflects and tells her, “There are too many mosquitoes in my room.” She retorts, “You will have problems with bats over here. Is it okay?”
The second half of the teaser gets eerie, and G V Prakash Kumar senses strange paranormal activities in the house. In a shot we see a terrified G V Prakash Kumar asking Kayadu Lohar, “Who is that? It is scary.” The teaser ends with a predator charging towards something in the dark.
Star cast of Immortal also includes actors Kumar Natarajan, T M Karthik, Arshu Maharjan, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Sunita Shrestha, Aaditya Kathir, and Pema Tsamchoe. Music director Sam C S has been trusted with the musical division of the film. Cinematographer Arun Radhakrishnan has been behind camera for the flick.
Editor San Lokesh has been roped in to edit the movie. Art director Siva Sankar has fashioned sets for the flick. Stunt director R Sakthi Saravanan has engineered action blocks for the drama. Immortal is produced by Arunkumar Dhanasekaran under the banner house AK Film Factory.
On the work front, actor G V Prakash Kumar will soon have consecutive releases in Happy Raj helmed by debutant Maria Raja Elanchezian in which he has romanced actress Sri Gouri Priya, and Adangathey crafted by Shanmugam Muthuswamy in which he has featured alongside actress Surbhi Chandra. The Dear actor is presently busy with many of his future films in Idi Muzhakkam filmed by Seenu Ramasamy in which he will be partnering with actress Gayathrie, 13 scripted by Vivek K Kannan in which he will be teaming up with actresses Aadya Prasad & Bhavya Trikha, and Mental Manadhil directed by Selvaraghavan in which he will be performing alongside actress Madhuri Jain.
On the other hand, actress Kayadu Lohar is awaiting a release in Tamil cinema via Idhayam Murali scripted by Aakash Baskaran in which she has collaborated with actor Atharvaa, and in Tollywood via Funky crafted by Anudeep K V in which she has costarred with actor Vishwak Sen. The actress in currently engaged in her next Tamil movie Arasan filmed by Vetrimaaran in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Silambarasan, a couple of Malayalam flicks Pallichattambi directed by Dijo Jose Antony in which she will be joining forces with actor Tovino Thomas, and Thaaram helmed by Vinay Govind in which she will be seen alongside actors Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, & Nikhila Vimal.
