Actor Harish Kalyan is on a roll at the moment in Kollywood with half a dozen projects in his pipeline. The Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum actor was last seen on screens in the romantic movie Oh Manapenne which hit the theaters under the direction of Kaarthikk Sundar with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar in the female lead part. The movie opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Thus, it could not draw much footfalls to the theaters. The actor has now put that behind him, and is getting ready for the release of his next entertainer. Debutant director Ramkumar Balakrishnan, an erstwhile assistant of story teller K S Sinish has written and directed the movie. The drama which went on floors earlier this year with a small pooja ceremony is now wrapped, and is in the post production stage getting shaped for release.
The production house has now announced the title of the flick on social media. The venture is christened as Parking. Actor Harish Kalyan himself has shared the news. Taking to his official twitter handle, the actor shared a poster, and wrote, “Ovvoru padam’mum, enakku unga ellarodayum connect panradhukaana oru Vaipu & here I am with another! So happy to launch the title look of my next film Parking. First look coming soon. Need all your love & support as always. Anbu Mattume Kudupom.” Here is the tweet made by the actor.

Speaking to a leading daily in the state, director Ramkumar Balakrishnan said, “Parking is a thriller drama. As the title gives away, the film revolves around parking. It is one of the most irksome issues that car owners face today. Be it in an apartment, or in the streets. I myself have endured it, and have heard many of my friends talk about it. So, I thought why not make a film out of it, and that is how Parking happened.” Taking further he revealed, “I narrated a bunch of scripts to Sinish. He liked the fresh content of Parking. So, we decided to go with it. We spent nearly a year in pre-production talking to people, and reading about different cases related to parking. We have sort of used all that material to build the script. I am very certain the audience will love it.”
Actor Harish Kalyan will be seen as an IT professional in the film. Apart from actor Harish Kalyan, Parking has actress Indhuja Ravichandran of Meyaadha Maan fame playing the female lead role. The casting division of the drama has actors M S Bhaskar, Prathana Nathan, Rama Rajendra, and Ilavarasu essaying various other supporting roles. Music director Sam C S has been roped in to compose music for the entertainer. Cinematographer Jiju Sunny has been behind camera for the flick. Editor Philomin Raj has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the drama. Art director N K Rahul has designed the background for the venture. The project is produced by Sudhan Sundaram under the production company Passion Studios along with K S Sinish for the banner house Soldier’s Factory.
On the work front, actor Harish Kalyan who had his last outing in the romance drama Oh Manapenne is gearing up for the release of his next drama titled Let’s get Married aka LGM directed by Ramesh Tamilmani in which he has shared screen space with actresses Ivana and Nadiya. The actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie Lubber Pandhu crafted by director Tamizharasan Pachamuthu in which he will be collaborating with actresses Swasika, and Sanjana, and for Star under the direction of story teller Elan. Apart from these flicks, the actor has Diesel helmed by story teller Shanmugam Muthusamy in which he has associated with actress Athulya Ravi, and Nooru Kodi Vaanavil scripted by film maker Sasi in which he will be seen alongside actress Siddhi Idnani in various stages of post production getting refined for release. On the other hand, actress Indhuja Ravichandran who was last seen in Naane Varuvean is currently busy shooting for her upcoming movie titled Khaki helmed by film maker A Senthil Kumar in which she will be co starring with actors Vijay Antony and Sathyaraj.
