Actor SJ Suriya had his last outing in the likes of the web series Vadhandhi: The Fable Of Velonie which hit the OTT platform under the direction of director Andrew Louis with actress Laila in a vital role. The entertainer opened to mixed reviews from critics and audience, and is yet to get the attention of the audience. Now, the actor has moved on to his next project, and is gearing up for the release of his next movie titled Bommai. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen in the female lead part in the flick. Story teller Radha Mohan of Mozhi fame has crafted the entertainer. Writer Pon Parthiban has written the script of Boommai. The drama which went on floors some time ago has now been wrapped, and is getting shaped in the post production for release.
Now, the production house has shared the first single of Bommai ‘Mudhal Muththam’ on social media. Lyricist Madhan Karky has penned the lyrics of the song. Musician Yuvan Shankar raja and Shweta Mohan have crooned the number. Music director A R Rahman has unveiled the first single video. Taking to his official twitter handle, the music director dropped the single video, and wrote, “Very happy to release Mudhal Muththam. Apart from actors SJ Suryah, and Priya Bhavani Shankar, the casting division of the drama has actors Chandini Tamilarasan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Umesh Kaushik in various other supporting parts. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the project. Cinematographer Richard M Nathan has been behind the lens for the venture. The editing department of the film has been handed over to editor Anthony Ruban. Art director K Kadhirr has designed the background for the film. Stunt master Kanal Kannan has choreographed action moves for the flick. The entertainer is bankrolled by Maruthu Pandian, Jasmine Santhosh, and Dheepa T Durai.
On the work front, actor SJ Suryah who was last seen on screens in a cameo in Vijay’s Varisu is currently busy shooting for his next venture christened Jigarthanda Double X under the direction of director Karthik Subbaraj in which he will be collaborating with actor Raghava Lawrence, for Mark Anthony filmed by director Adhik Ravichandran of AAA fame in which he will be seen alongside actor Vishal, and for a Telugu project tentatively titled as RC 15 helmed by storyteller S Shankar in which he will be co starring with actors Ram Charan, and Kiara Advani. Apart from these ventures, the actor has a couple of his delayed projects in the likes of Uyarndha Manithan scripted by filmmaker Tamilvannan, and Iravaakaalam filmed by storyteller Ashwin Saravanan.
On the other hand, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar who was last seen on screens in the drama Thiruchitrambalam is currently busy shooting for the sequel of Indian crafted by Shankar in which she will be seen alongside actor Kamal Hassan, for DeMonte Colony 2 crafted by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu in which she will be romancing actor Arulnithi, for her debut Telugu flick Zebra directed by Eashvar Karthic in which she will be sharing the screen space with actor Satya Dev, and for a Telugu web drama Dootha filmed by Vikram Kumar in which she will be co starring with actors Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, and Parvathy Thiruvothu. Apart from these projects, the actress has Agilan scripted by N Kalyanakrishnan with actor Jayam Ravi in the lead, and Rudhran scripted by S Kathiresan in which she has collaborated with actor Raghava Lawrence in various stages of post-production getting refined for release.
