Actress Aishwarya Rajesh has become one of the busiest artists of Kollywood. She has nearly a dozen films in her kitty. The Kaaka Muttai actress was last seen on screens in the eco action thriller Boomika which hit the Netflix OTT platform under the direction of film maker Rathindran R Prasad. The entertainer did not live up to the expectations of the audience, and has been struggling to clock views. Now, the actress has moved on to her next project which is titled Farhana. Director Nelson Venkatesan who had previously directed Oru Naal Koothu and Monster will be directing the entertainer. Actor Selvaraghavan will be playing a key role in the movie. The project is expected to go on floors by the end of this month.
Now, the production house has released the first look poster of the flick on social media. Actress Aishwarya Rajesh herself has unveiled the poster. Taking to her official twitter handle, the actress shared the first look poster of the drama and wrote, “Meet Farhana, a woman of strength and confidence and a picture of elegance! In the first look poster, the actress is seen donning a hijab with a headphone to her ears sporting a confident smile on her face. Actress Aishwarya Rajesh is set to play a character named Farhana, a girl hailing from a Muslim family. The first look poster has turned viral and has engineered high expectations on the entertainer. Actress Aishwarya Rajesh’s choice of movies has been interesting so far in her career. It would only be fair to assume that even Farhana would be in the same lines.
Apart from actors Aishwarya Rajesh, and Selvaraghavan, the casting of the drama has actors Jithan Ramesh, and Aishwarya Dutta portraying vital supporting parts. The rest of the cast that will be part of the entertainer is expected to be finalized and announced soon. The music for the entertainer will be composed by music director Justin Prabhakaran. The cinematography department of the movie will be handled by cinematographer Gokul Benoy. The editing division of the project is handed over to editor V. J. Sabu Joseph. The project is produced by S. R. Prabhu for the production house Dream Warrior Pictures.
On the work front, actress Aishwarya Rajesh who was last seen on screens in Tamil in the action thriller Boomika is currently busy shooting for her next project titled Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga under the direction of story teller Dinesh Lakshmanan in which she will be collaborating with actor Arjun Sarja, and for her Malayalam venture christened Pulimada directed by filmmaker A. K. Sajan in which she will be seen alongside actor Joju George. Apart from these ventures, the actress has Driver Jamuna scripted by P. Kinslin, The Great Indian Kitchen helmed by storyteller R. Kannan with actor Rahul Ravindran in the lead, Mohandas filmed by filmmaker Murali Karthick in which she has shared the screen space with actor Vishnu Vishal, and Dhruva Natchathiram directed by storyteller Gautham Vasudev Menon in which she has co starred with actor Vikram in various stages of post-production getting fine-tuned for release.
