Actor Pradeep Ranganathan had his last outing in the romantic action-comedy flick Dude filmed by director Keerthiswaran with actress Mamitha Baiju as female lead. The Love Today actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming entertainer christened Love Insurance Kompany. Story teller Vignesh Shivan, who rose to fame with Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, has inked and helmed the drama.
Actress Krithi Shetty of Vaa Vaathiyaar fame, and Gouri G Kishan of Boat fame have been cast as the female leads in the project. The shoot for the flick took place in and around the neighborhoods of Velliangiri Mountains, Coimbatore, Udumalaipettai, Singapore, and Malaysia. The production house has now launched a song promo from the drama on social media.
Taking to his official X profile, music director Anirudh Ravichander himself launched a special poster along with a link to the Enakena Yaarum Illaye promo video from Love Insurance Kompany and wrote, “Enakena Valentine’s Day special music video from tomo. Singers Anirudh Ravichander and Anantha Krrishnan have sung the number. Music director Anirudh Ravichander has handled musical gears for the entertainer. Already two tracks ‘Dheema’ in the voice of Anirudh Ravichander, lyrics written by Vignesh Shivan, and ‘Pattuma’ crooned by Anirudh Ravichander & Anantha Krrishnan in the lyrics of Vignesh Shivan is out from the album.
Enakena Yaarum Illaye was originally scored by the musician for an unreleased movie titled Aakko. The number which was released as a promotional material for the venture went on to be a sensational hit among youngsters. Love Insurance Kompany is billed as a science fiction romantic comedy movie set in the future, 2040s.
The movie was slated to hit screens on three occasions on 18th Sep, 17th Oct, and 18th Dec of last year. But it got pushed due to reasons best known to the makers. Now, there are speculations that the project will arrive in theaters on valentine’s day. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon.
Apart from Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty and Gouri G Kishan, the ensemble cast of Love Insurance Kompany also has Telugu actor Sunil Reddy, S J Suryah, Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Shah Ra, Malavika, Edin Rose, Anandaraj, and Muhammad Rasool, and Seeman essaying various supporting parts.
Cinematographers Sathyan Sooryan and Ravi Varman have overseen the cinematography division of the movie. Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been bestowed with the responsibility to chop and patch the drama. Art director Kannan S has erected sets for the venture. Stunt directors Peter Hein, Kecha Khamphakdee and Chethan D’Souza have coordinated to choreograph action blocks for the film.
Love Insurance Kompany is bankrolled by S S Lalit Kumar, L K Vishnu Kumar, and Srimaan Ramachandra Raja under the production company Seven Screen Studio in affiliation with actress Nayanthara for her home productions Rowdy Pictures. The entertainer is said to have consumed a budget of 60 crore.
On the professional front, actor Pradeep Ranganathan is presently occupied with his next film tentatively christened Wikki 6 crafted by Vignesh Shivan in which he will be costarring with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Nayanthara, and an untitled venture which will be headlined and helmed by himself.
On the other hand, actress Krithi Shetty is awaiting the release of her next Tamil movie directed by Arjunan Jr in which she has featured alongside actors Jayam Ravi, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The Custody actress is now engaged on her future Malayalam project Khalifa scripted by Vysakh in which she will be starring with actors Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, & Tovino Thomas, and a Telugu flick Rowdy Janardhana filmed by Ravi Kiran Kola in which she will be joining forces with actors Vijay Deverakonda & Rashmika Mandanna.
