Actor Bharath Srinivasan last graced the silver screens in the crime thriller Kaalidas 2 filmed by Sri Senthil with actors Ajay Karthi, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Bhavani Sre, and Abarnathi in lead roles. Actor Aari Arujunan lastly entertained audiences in the horror thriller Fourth Floor crafted by L R Sundarapandi with actress Deepshikha Chandran as female lead. Both actors will soon be seen together on screens in the gangster drama Gods And Soldiers.
Director Vijay Milton, who has delivered films like Goli Soda & Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, has penned and helmed the flick. Actor Raj Tarun has played a prominent role in the film. Actress Ammu Abhirami of Nirangal Moondru fame has essayed the female lead part in the entertainer. The production house is eyeing to bring the flick to theaters in the month of May. Meanwhile, they have now launched a teaser/trailer ‘Traiser’ of the movie on social media.
Taking to his official X profile, actor Aari Arujunan himself shared a special poster along with a link to the trailer of Gods And Soldiers and wrote, “My next film United fight hard. The nearly three minute trailer of Gods And Soldiers opens to a boy expressing to his mother, “Mom, they keep doing this to me. Come and confront them!” She responds, “No. Let me hear them say you stabbed them in return. Then I will show up to say. My will son will do exactly that.” A voiceover of actor Aari Arujunan narrates, “There are two kinds of God. The one who made you, and the one you made.”
In a scene we see a boy ask, “If two flowers can bloom on one plant, why can’t the same flower bloom on two plants?” Then we have the intro of actor Bharath as a gangster who tells a headmaster, “Sir, when someone rises for the lower class, the system turns his own people against him. That is how the upper-class rules.”
Then we have someone get philosophical, “What is God? Is he really the big deal? The power of a God is seen in the crowd it gathers. That is how gangsters work.” Following which a woman says, “Our fear fuels their arrogance.” Then a man mouths, “They stand as one. Everyone there is a gangster.” The trailer ends with a young man denouncing, “Anger is like money. Do not spend it all at once. Save it. Someday, you can let it all loose at once!”
Apart from Bharath, Aari Arujunan, Raj Tarun, and Ammu Abhirami, the casting unit of Gods And Soldiers also has actors Sunil, Kishore, Paal Dabba, Radha Ravi, Bharath Seeni, Vijetha Vasist, Jeffry, Imman Annachi, and Prasanna Balachandran playing various supporting characters. Music director Sam C S has scored music for the venture. Director Vijay Milton himself has captured the entertainer.
Editor Dinesh Bala has been roped in to bring coherence to the film. Art director K Arusamy has designed the background for the project. Stunt master Kalai Kingson and Vikram Mor have worked in tandem to fashion action blocks for the flick. Gods And Soldiers is backed by Vijay Milton himself along with Muthiah Azhagarsamy, Jayaseelan Henry, and Sundar Babu under the banner house Rough Note Productions.
On the work front, actor Bharath is now engaged in his upcoming untitled venture scripted by M Guru in which he will be costarring with actors Sasikumar, Megha Shetty, Malavika, & Sathyaraj, and Munnarivaan filmed by director Vijay Raj in which he will be romancing actress Janani.
On the other hand, actor Aari Arujunan is now occupied on his next flick Ayya directed by Cheran, Man filmed by Pon Parthiban in which he will be teaming up with actresses Janani Durga & Hansika Motwani, and Maane Thaene Paeye helmed by N Krishna in which he will be performing alongside actress Subhasree Ganguly. Besides these projects, the Nedunchalai actor has his long-delayed movies Aleka scripted by S S Raja Mithran in which he has joined forces with actress Aishwarya Dutta, and Bagavan helmed by Kalingan in the trunk waiting to see the light of day.
