Actor Arun Vijay was last seen on screens in the action drama Yaanai which hit the screens under the direction of story teller Hari with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Despite opening up to mixed reviews from the audience and critics, the flick enjoyed good commercial success. The Chekka Chivantha Vaanam actor has now moved on to his upcoming entertainer titled Sinam. Director GNR Kumaravelan has written and directed the drama. The project which went on floors back in the year 2019 was pushed repeatedly due to unknown reasons. But has finally come to see the daylight. The entertainer is poised to hit the screens on 16th of September this year.
Now, the production house has unveiled the trailer of the movie on social media. Actor Arun Vijay himself has shared the trailer. Taking to his official twitter handle the actor dropped the trailer with the caption, “The Sinam trailer is out for you!” Here is the post made by the actor.
The couple of minutes trailer cut opens with a voiceover of a kid asking her father to tell a story. Then, we hear actor Arun Vijay’s voice starting to tell a story but the kid interrupts him and takes over the narration. In the visuals we are given a glimpse of intense quickly cut scenes. We see actor Arun Vijay as a belligerent young cop coming around thrashing henchmen. He is the typical cinematic cop that does not think twice to beat up even the higher officials. Possibly, the reason for his suspension. The trailer hints at a gripping crime thriller in store. Actor Arun Vijay is set to play the character named Pari Venkat. The actor previously wore Khakhi for his super hit crime drama Kuttram 23. Apparently, one can expect the flick to be fast paced with high-octane action sequences.
Besides actor Arun Vijay, Sinam has actress Palak Lalwani in the female lead part. The casting department of the entertainer has veteran actor Vijay Kumar, Kaali Venkat, RNR Manohar, KSG Venkatesh, and Marumalarchi Bharathi essaying various other supporting roles. Music director Shabir of Sagaa fame has composed the music for the flick. Lyricists Madhan Karky and Thamizhanangu have written the lyrics for the movie. Cinematographer G Gopinath has shouldered the camera for the movie. Editor V. J. Sabu Joseph will be trimming the venture. Master stunt Silva has choreographed the action sequences for the flick. The project is funded by Vijay Kumar for his banner house Movie Slides Pvt Ltd.
On the work front, actor Arun Vijay who was last seen on screens in the mass action masala drama Yaanai is currently busy shooting for his next venture christened Boxer directed by film maker Vivek in which he will be romancing actress Ritika Singh. Apart from this venture, the actor has Agni Siragugal helmed by director Naveen in which he has shared the screen space with actress Akshara Haasan, and Borrder scripted by filmmaker Arivazhagan Venkatachalam in which he has costarred with actress Regina Cassandra, in various stages of post production shaping up for release. On the other hand, actress Palak Lalwani who had a last outing in Sixer is gearing up for the release of her next project titled Partner filmed by director Manoj Damodharan in which she has associated with actors Aadhi and Hansika Motwani, and for Thalainagaram 2 scripted by V. Z. Dhorai in which she has teamed up with actor Sundar C.
