Arjun Das And Aditi Shankar’s Once More Secures A Date For Release!
Actor Arjun Das recently had a release in the crime comedy movie Con City scripted by Harish Durairaj with actors Anna Ben and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. The Aneethi actor is now enthusiastically expecting his next outing via the romantic entertainer titled Once More. Newbie story teller Vignesh Srikanth, who previously wrote dialogue for Por, has written and crafted the drama.
Actress Aditi Shankar of Viruman fame has been paired with actor Arjun Das in the flick. Filming for Once More happened in various parts of Chennai. The makers have been promoting the film by releasing singles from the album. Meanwhile, we now have news that the movie will be releasing in theaters on 28th of August. The makers themselves have announced the news on social media.
Taking to their official X timeline, the production team of Million Dollar Studios dropped a special date announcement poster from Once More and captioned it, “Thirunaal Idhudhaan. Where the wait ends and love takes over . . . The Kaadhal Calendar has finally found its favourite date Once More hits theatres worldwide on AUGUST 28th. Written & directed by Vignesh Srikanth. Earlier talking about the movie director Vignesh Srikanth divulged, “My debut venture will be a wholesome breezy romance film. It revolves around Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar who fall in love with each other. The interesting aspect is that they both have a contrasting personality. Not just the two of them, even their family members and friends. How they navigate their differences is what forms the crux of the story.”
He further revealed, “It will be in the lines of Mani Ratnam sir’s O Kadhal Kanmani. I have tried to capture the difficulties and complexities in today’s relationships. Also, the magical moments that only transpire when two polar-opposite personalities fall in love.” Interestingly, ‘Once More’ is a 1997 classic romantic entertainer starring actor and politician Vijay. The ensemble cast of Once More also comprises actors Sona Olickal, Kalki Koechlin, Khushbu Sundar, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Dravid Selvam, George Kora, and Shiv Panditt.
Music director Hesham Abdul Wahab has been trusted with the musical division of the flick. Six soundtracks ‘Vaa Kannamma’ sung by Uthara Unnikrishnan, ‘Edhira Pudhira’ in the voice of D Sathyaprakash, ‘Meenduma’ in the vocals of Aavani Malhar, ‘Idhayam’ sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Miss Oruthi crooned by Naresh Iyer, and ‘Indra’ in the vocals of Hanan Shaah, is already out from the album. Director Vignesh Srikanth himself has penned lyrics for all the songs.
Cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan has overseen the visuals and camera division for the drama. The editing department of the flick has been handed over to editor Nash. Art director Raj Kamal has built sets for the movie. Once More is backed by Yuvaraj Ganesan under his home production Million Dollar Studios in association with V R Vamsi for the production studio FYNTEMAX.
On the work side, actor Arjun Das will soon have a release in the digital space via Love created by Balaji Mohan in which he has romanced actress Aishwarya Lekshmi. The Kumki 2 actor is currently busy with Superhero filmed by Vignesh Venugopal in which he will be collaborating with actress Teju Ashwini, Kaithi 2 helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in which he will be teaming up with actor Karthi, a couple of his Malayalam films Torpedo directed by Tharun Moorthy in which he will be seen alongside actor Fahadh Faasil, and Bilal crafted by Amal Neerad in which he will be working with actors Mammooty & Mamta Mohandas.
On the other hand, actress Aditi Shankar is presently busy shooting for two of her untitled movies under the direction of Ram Kumar in which she will be featuring with actor Vishnu Vishal, and another flick scripted by M Rajesh in which she will be partnering with actor Atharvaa Murali.
