Vishnu Vishal’s Gatta Kusthi 2 Trailer: A Husband’s Selfless Sacrifice For His Wife And A Dad’s Powerful Redemption For The Family!

Actor Vishnu Vishal last graced the silver screens in the action thriller flick Aaryan crafted by K Praveen with actress Shraddha Srinath as female lead. The Neerparavai actor is eagerly expecting the release of his next romantic sports comedy film Gatta Kusthi 2. Story teller Chella Ayyavu, who was in director’s chair for the first part, has inked and helmed the second installment as well.  

Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi has reprised her role as actor Vishnu Vishal’s wife in the entertainer. The shoot for the drama took place in several areas in Chennai, Pollachi, Ambasamudram, and Palakkad. Gatta Kusthi 2 is poised to release in theaters worldwide on 3rd of July. Meanwhile, the production team has now dropped the trailer of the flick on social media. 

Taking to their official X profile, the team of Vishnu Vishal Studioz unveiled a special poster along with a link to the trailer of Gatta Kusthi 2 and worded, “களத்துல இறங்குவோமா? The two minute trailer of Gatta Kusthi 2 opens to actor Vishnu Vishal asking his daughter, “Shall I tell you a story?” She asks him, “Is it a story of a lion or a fox?” He responds, “It is neither!” The scene shifts to actor Karunakaran requesting Vishnu Vishal, “Job is pride. Job is dignity. Please, you must go find a job.” Vishnu Vishal tells him, “As a wife supports the family when the husband provides, a husband should do the same when the wife provides.”

In a scene actor Kaali Venkat complains, “Lately, people are demanding a couple of thousand to vote.” Actor Karunas quips, “It is time we took up a profession other than politics.” Subsequently he swears, “If she is a wrestler, my nephew is a wrestler too.” The trailer ends with Vishnu Vishal’s daughter telling him, “Somehow, please win this match, dad.” 

The star cast of Gatta Kusthi 2 also has actors Ramya Krishnan, Kaali Venkat, Yogi Babu, Zara, Karunakaran, Mokksha, Deepthie Orintelu, Munishkanth, Gajaraj, and Karunas. Musician Sean Roldan has scored music for the film. Already two songs ‘Sambavakaari’ sung by Sean Roldan & Saindhavi lyrics inked by Mohan Rajan, and ‘Magaraasi’ crooned by Vijay Narain & Sean Roldan lyrics written by Muthamil, are out from the album. 

Cinematographer K M Bhaskaran has handled camera gear for the movie. Editor Barath Vikraman has been signed in to trim the flick. Art director Jayachandran has fashioned sets for the film. Action master Murugan has choreographed action moves for the venture. Gatta Kusthi 2 is funded by actor Vishnu Vishal himself under his production house Vishnu Vishal Studioz in partnership with Ishari K Ganesh & Kushmitha Ganesh for the production company Vels Film International. 

On the professional side, actor Vishnu Vishal will next be seen on screens in Irandu Vaanam filmed by Ram Kumar in which he has associated with actress Mamitha Baiju, a couple of his delayed projects Mohan Das helmed by Murali Karthick in which he has worked with actress Aishwarya Rajesh, and Idam Porul Yaeval directed by Seenu Ramasamy in which he has costarred with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Aishwarya Rajesh. The Jeeva actor is now shooting for Ratsasan 2 crafted by Ram Kumar, and two of his untitled ventures under the direction of Gokul & Sathish Selvakumar. 

On the other hand, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is awaiting her next OTT release in Love scripted by Balaji Mohan in which she has joined forces with actor Arjun Das. The actress is now busy working on her next Malayalam film Aasha directed by Safar Sanal in which she will be performing with actor Joju George, Gangster Of Mundanmala created by Ronnie Manuel Joseph in which she will be romancing actor Nivin Pauly, Bismi Special helmed by Rajesh Ravi in which she will be teaming up with actor Nivin Pauly, and a Telugu flick Sambarla Yeti Gattu crafted by K P Rohith in which she will be partnering with actor Sai Dharam Tej.
