‘Rathatha Tha’ First Single From Arulnithi’s Demonte Colony 3 Is Hauntingly Sleek!
Actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu had a release last month in the social drama Arulvaan directed by Ganesh Vinayakan with actors Arav, Ramya Pandian, and Krithika in the lead roles. The Thiruvin Kural actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming horror thriller Demonte Colony 3. Director Ajay Gnanamuthu, who was in director’s cockpit for the first two parts of the franchise, has also helmed the third installment.
He has sought the assistance of writers Arun Haiku Sakthi and Dhanraj Das to build the story of the flick. Writer Pattukottai Prabhakar has contributed to the movie’s dialogues. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, who played a character named Debbie in the second edition of the franchise, reprised her part in the third installment. Actor Guru Somasundaram is hyped to have portrayed a deeply disturbing and menacing role in the drama.
Filming for Demonte Colony 3 predominantly took place on a specially constructed set. The production house has already publicized that the flick will be released in theaters worldwide on 10th of September. The makers have been regularly posting videos and updates about the film on social media. They have now launched the first single from the album on social media.
Taking to his official X timeline, musician Sam C S himself unveiled a small clip along with a link to the first single ‘Rathatha Tha’ from Demonte Colony 3 and worded, “The darkness finally has a soundtrack. Music composer Sam C S has handled musical instruments for the entertainer. He has also lent his voice for the track. Lyricist Mohan Rajan has penned lyrics for the song. The number is mixed and mastered by Abin Paul.
Earlier speaking to a leading media house, Ajay Gnanamuthu divulged, “The project has come along well. Thanks to my producer’s trust in me I enjoyed complete creative freedom. I am grateful to Arulnithi as well for his dedication. The audience would have witnessed his evolution as a performer from the first part. His character in this installment will be even more challenging. Many characters from the second part will return with deeper character arcs.”
The ensemble cast of Demonte Colony 3 also includes actors Meenakshi Govindarajan, G M Kumar, Sreekumar Ganesh, Archana Ravichandran, Vettai Muthukumar, Ashiq Hussain, Sarjano Khalid, Mohd Ibrahim Kalam Khan, Antti Jaaskelainen, Anburaj, Senthilnathan Jeyabalan, Theodore Zammit, and Peter Winfield.
Cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan has been behind the lens for the movie. Editor Kumaresh D has been trusted with the editing division of the entertainer. Art director G Ramalingam has fashioned the background for the project. Stunt director Phantom Pradeep has served as the stunt coordinator for the flick.
Demonte Colony 3 is backed by Sudhan Sundaram under the production banner Passion Studios, in association with Manish Singhal under the production studio Dangal TV, in collaboration with Durgaram Choudhary & Neel Choudhary under the production label RDC Media along with R C Rajkumar for the production company Gnanamuthu Pattarai.
On the professional side, actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu is currently engrossed in his future project My Dear Sister filmed by Prabhu Jeyaram in which he will be teaming up with actresses Mamta Mohandas & Meenakshi Govindarajan, and Pugazhendhi Enum Naan directed by Karu Pazhaniappan.
On the other hand, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar is awaiting her next release in Tollywood via Irumudi created by Shiva Nirvana in which she has featured alongside actor Ravi Teja. The Rathnam actress is presently occupied in her next Tamil flick Maragadha Naanayam 2 crafted by Ark Saravan in which she will be starring with actor Aadhi Pinisetty, and a Telugu drama Aham Brahmasmi scripted by Srikanth N Reddy in which she will be performing alongside actor Manchu Manoj.
