In a recent award function, Director A.R.Murugadoss has announced that he will be directing Rajinikanth’s new movie. The director also explained that unlike ‘Sarkar’, Superstar’s movie will not have a political element. According to him, his movie with Superstar will have imaginary portions along with elements fans expect in a Rajinikanth film.
A.R.Murugadoss’s recent film ‘Sarkar’ starring Vijay is a super-duper hit with a box-office collection of Rs.250 Crores at the worldwide theatres. The movie had a good share of controversies after the Tamil Nadu state government protested against some scenes bin the film.
The news is that Lyca Productions who has bankrolled Superstar’s ‘2.0’ is planning to produce the new movie of A.R.Murugadoss and Rajinikanth as well but the shooting for the film will begin only by 2019. Moreover, A.R Murugadoss also worked with Lyca Productions in the past for his super hit movie ‘Kathi’ which was the debutante production for them.
Meantime, Rajinikanth’s much awaited film after his recent blockbuster ‘2.0’ is ‘Petta’, will be released in the theatres on Pongal weekend.
This will be the first time A.R.Murugadoss and Superstar Rajinikanth’s are coming together for a film project. Also, Anirudh is in talks for composing the music for the movie.
