But one has stood out among all since the old days . . .” The shot cuts to an auto driver saying, “And that is Vyasarpadi. When it comes to North Madras it is us.” Another person intervenes and asks him, “What about the rest of us? Get lost. You carry on brother.”
The voiceover continues, “Appreciate it, brother. Anyway, like he said, the place I was speaking of was ‘Perambur’. The only spot in Chennai without traffic signals. Among the first cities to have a labor union. With three different railway stations and a variety of foods. Paired with various desserts. Totally divine. Home for a diversity of people. At the crux of this place lives my dear friend. This is his story. And his name is . . . Chirumamilla Sita Krishna, CSK.”
We are then introduced to his family with actor Gopi Aravind’s voiceover explaining, “What might look like a very loving family. But deep down it is a very chaotic family. A mom who rules like Hitler all day. A dad whose idea of fun becomes overwhelming. A brother who is equally irritating as mom. A sister who is always sad. And her always playful daughter. With friends who never miss a chance to roast him.”
The voiceover proceeds to give us details of his love story, “To escape from all of this, when he fell in love . . . Love itself has turned into another source of stress. Totally opposite flavors. An odd but interesting combination. This story shows how he handles all of this. And ends up marrying Magik Diana D’Souza, the love of his life.”
