Actor Parthiepan was last seen on screens in the role of a baddie in the action entertainer Ayogya which had actor Vishal in the lead. The actor is currently busy shooting for various flicks and is also making moves to bring out his experimental drama titled as Otha Seruppu size 7 which made its way to the Asia Book of Records as well as in to the India Book of Records for a feat of single man taking care of multiple departments of a movie like writing, directing, acting and bankrolling it. Now, the actor is also gearing up for the release of his next action comedy heist film which is titled as Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam helmed by debutant story teller Sudhar of Naalaiya Iyakkunar fame.
The trailer of the film which hit the social media last month was fun filled and has clocked a considerable number of views on YouTube. Now, ahead of the release the director has interacted with the media. Speaking about the project, the director states, “I am very happy with the way the movie has come out. The very idea of a group of cricket enthusiasts planning to steal a world cup trophy is itself an exclusive and fresh plot in Tamil cinema, may be world cinema. Besides this, every scene in the flick will be fresh and engaging. Generally, our audience would have witnessed similar scenes in many movies with different actors in it. But that will not be happening in Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam as every scene will be unique, something they have not witnessed in other movies.”
The story of the film is about a group of cricket enthusiasts who with the assistance of a local don attempts to steal the world cup trophy won by India in the year 2011 against Sri Lanka. Though the theme is quite weird the trailer seemed to be fun but we will have to wait to see whether the movie manages to entertain the audience. Actor Chandran of Kayal fame is playing a role of an IT employee in the flick while Parthiepan has donned the character of a local don. The casting of the project also has Satna Titus, Chaams, Daniel Annie Pope and Arjai essaying various other important roles.
The motion picture is produced by P. S. Raghunathan under the banner Two Movie Buffs partnering with Chandrasekar. R. The musical department of the comedy drama is handled by Ashwath. Popular brothers of Kollywood Venkat Prabhu and Premji Amaren have crooned a number for the flick. While cinematographer Martin Joe has been behind the camera for the movie, editor K. J. Venkat Ramanan has taken care of the editing department.
On the professional front, actor Parthiepan is getting ready for a back to back release in the likes of his experimental project Otha Seruppu Size 7 and his comedy entertainer Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam. On the other hand, actor Chandran is currently busy shooting for his next project titled as Naan Seidha Kurumbu and also for Daavu. Apart from these films, the actor is waiting for the release of his next movie Graghanam directed by Elan and also for the multi starrer film Party which is helmed by Venkat Prabhu.
