Popular YouTube entertainers Sudhakar Jayaraman and Gopi Aravind Raja had their last outing back in 2023 via their supporting roles in the comedy horror drama Odavum Mudiyadhu Oliyavum Mudiyadhu scripted by story teller Ramesh Venkat with actress Yashika Aannand as female lead. The duo is currently busy shooting for their upcoming fantasy film christened Oh God Beautiful in which they will be portraying lead roles.
Newbie director Vishnu Vijayan has penned and is helming the entertainer. The shoot for the project is underway in full swing, and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The makers had recently released an update video constructed in an intriguing manner on social media. They have now released the first single from the album.
Taking to their official X profile, the team of Saregama South dropped a small clip along with a link to the lyrical video of ‘Venum Macha Peace’ from Oh God Beautiful and worded it, “It’s Time To Switch To Peace Mode! The First Single Venum Macha Peace in the Groovy Voice of Sivakarthikeyan From Oh God Beautiful is Out Now! Actor Sivakarthikeyan has lent his voice for the song. Previously the star had crooned ‘Vannarapettayila’ in his movie Maaveeran. Lyricist Vignesh Ramakrishna has written lyrics for the number. Music director J C Joe has scored music for the track. The song is mixed and mastered by Abin Pushpakaran. The 30 seconds odd clip shared by the music label has actors Sivakarthikeyan, Sudhakar Jayaraman, and Gopi Aravind Raja recording the song in the recording studio.
The update video shared by the production unit recently had the recollection of events that transpired during the covid-19 times when the duo faced heat after abandoning a project which was meant to be shot with the money they collected via crowdsourcing.
Earlier talking about the movie to a popular YouTube channel actor Gopi Aravind Raja said, “Oh God Beautiful will follow the lives of two youngsters hailing from a middle-class background. It will narrate the daily events of their lives. We have tried to present the monotonous daily routine of our life in a comical way with a mix of fantasy elements added to it.”
Beside Gopi Aravind Raja and Sudhakar Jayaraman, the ensemble cast of Oh God Beautiful also has actors Viji Chandrasekhar, Ramesh Khanna, Vinsu Sam, VTV Ganesh, Suresh Chakravarthy, Muruganandham, Saathvick, Subatra Robert, Prasanna, Benedict, Guhan, Haritha, Yuvaraj Ganesan, Goutham, Aazhiya, and Balakumaran depicting various supporting characters. Music composer Arun Gowtham has been roped in to compose background score for the project.
Cinematographers K B Shree Karthik and Shakthivel have been collaborating to capture the flick. Editor Sam RDX has been signed in to chop and patch the project. Art director Amaran has been erecting sets for the venture. Stunt master Om Prakash has been designing action sequences for the movie. Oh God Beautiful is funded by Gopi Aravind Raja and Sudhakar Jayaraman themselves under their production label Parithabangal Productions.
