It is a known news that the actress is awaiting the release of his next science fiction film titled Yashoda. Now, we have news on the release date of the entertainer. Yashoda is all set to hit the screens on 12th of August this year. The production house has planned for a pan India release. The production house themselves has shared the release date of the flick on social media. Taking to their official twitter handle ‘Sridevi Movies,’ they shared a poster announcing the release date, and wrote, “August 12th it is! Our Yashoda aka Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to give you thrills n chills in theaters. A Sivalenka Krishna Prasad’s production.” Here is the post shared by the production house.

It is said that the film will have high octane action sequences. Hollywood stunt man Yannick Ben has been roped in to choreograph the action sequences. The fans of the actress are eager to watch her performing high action moves. The production unit is in plans to wrap the shoot of the movie by the end of this month. So that they would have ample amount of time to work on the CG effects in the flick.
The movie is helmed by film makers Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan. Apart from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the film has actors Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in vital roles. The casting of the flick includes actors Sampath Raj, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, and Priyanka Sharma in various other supporting roles. Music director Mani Sharma will be handling the musical instruments for the drama. Cinematographer M. Sukumar has cranked the camera for the flick. Editor Marthand K. Venkatesh will be taking care of the editing department. The entertainer is bankrolled by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad for the banner house Sridevi Movies.
On the work front, the actress who was last seen in the hot item number Oo solriya mama is gearing up for the release of her next Tamil drama christened Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal helmed by film maker Vignesh Shivan which is set to the theaters on 28th of this month. The actress will be romancing actor Vijay Sethupathi along with actress Nayanthara in the entertainer. Following which she will be seen in the Telugu film Shaakuntalam under the direction of Gunasekhar. As of now the actress is yet to ink her signature for a Tamil film.
