Actor Pugazh had his last outing in the digital space via the action thriller flick Om Kali Jai Kali crafted by storyteller Ramu Chellappa with actors Vemal, Douglas Kumaramoorthy, and Pavani Reddy in lead roles. The entertainer was tagged with mixed reviews by critics, and is yet to garner the attention of audiences. The Enna Solla Pogirai star is now gearing up for the release of his next film titled Mr. Zoo Keeper in which he has essayed the lead role. Director J Suresh, who has been away from the industry after delivering projects like Madhavan’s Ennavale and Mammootty’s Junior Senior, is set to make his comeback to the industry after more than a decade with this film. Actress Shirin Kanchwala of Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja fame has played the female lead part in the drama. The project has been in the making for quite some time. Finally, we have news that it has entered the post production stage. The production house has now shared the trailer of the film on social media.
One-minute odd trailer cut of Mr. Zoo Keeper starts with actor Pugazh opening a door and calling someone, “Subramani . . . Subramani . . .” The scene cuts to a tight shot of a tiger. A terrified Pugazh shuts the door in panic. Then we have a voiceover informing us, “In a forest in Tamil Nadu a tiger named Raja Lakshmi has given birth to three cubs. One of the cubs has now gone missing.” Following which we see a cop enquiring a character, “Where is the cub?” He responds, “Someone has abducted it.” In a scene we witness a judge chiding the cops, “What is happening in the forest? Since animals cannot speak, you are violating the laws of the jungle.” Subsequently we see actress Shirin Kanchwala in tears saying, “In such a vast forest we have no place to leave you safely.” Actor Pugazh retorts, “Where is the forest?” The trailer ends with the actor saying, “If you shower love, even tiger will be as benevolent as a cow.”
Apart from Pugazh, and Shirin Kanchwala, the casting crew of Mr. Zoo Keeper also has late actor G Marimuthu, Singampuli, Imman Annachi, Pyramid Kumar, and Vijay Ceyon portraying various supporting characters. The musical department of the project has been handed over to music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematographer Thanvir Mohidin has worked on the cinematography department of the movie. Editor K S Asseb has been brought on board to bring coherence to the drama. Art director Kalvilai Samuel Rajan has designed sets for the entertainer. Action director Pratheep Dinesh has choreographed action blocks for the film. Mr. Zoo Keeper is produced by S Rajarathinam and A Arockia Daas partnering with T Jeba Jones under the production label J4 Studios.
On the work front, actor Pugazh is presently occupied in his next ventures christened Kaana Peena helmed by debutant director Vijay Kiran in which he will be romancing actress Benzi Riya, Four Signal helmed by debutant director Maheswaran Kesavan in which he will be costarring with actors Sharmila, Lollu Saba Seshu, & Aruvi Thirunavukkarasu, and an untitled film helmed by Sajo Sundar in which he will be seen alongside actors Pragya Nayan, Ravi Mariya, and Vincent Ashokan. On the other hand, actress Shirin Kanchwala is currently busy shooting for her upcoming Tamil movie Manjal Kudai scripted by director Sivam Rajamani in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Vemal.
