Actor Sivakarthikeyan last graced the silver screens via the psychological action thriller Madharaasi helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy with actress Rukmini Vasanth as female lead. Actor Jayam Ravi had his last outing in the romantic comedy film Kadhalikka Neramillai crafted by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi with actress Nithya Menen in the female lead part. Both the stars are now gearing up for the release of their next movie Parasakthi. The project marks actor Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th movie milestone.
Story Sudha Kongara, who is known for crafting flicks like Irudhi Suttru and Soorarai Pottru, has helmed the venture. Writers Arjun Nadesan and Ganeshaa have offered their assistance in shaping the flow of the film. She has co-written dialogues of the entertainer with Madhan Karky, Shan Karuppusamy, and Arjun Nadesan. Tollywood actress Sreeleela is set to make her debut in Tamil cinema with her female lead in the film. Actor Atharvaa has also depicted a prominent role in the project. The production team has now launched the third single from the album.

Singers Haricharan, Nakash Aziz, and Velmurugan have sung the number. Rapper Arivu has penned lyrics for the track. The song is mixed and mastered by Aswin George John. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has overseen the musical division of the film. Already two numbers ‘Adi Alaye’ written by Ekadesi in the voice of Sean Roldan & Dhee, and ‘Ratnamala’ in the lyrics of Jayashree Mathimaran sung by G V Prakash Kumar are out from the album.
Parasakthi is also the title of late legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan’s 1952 vintage classic film. The entertainer was shot across multiple locations in Chennai, Chidambaram, Karaikudi, Madurai, Pollachi, and Sri Lanka. Star cast of the venture also comprises actors Rana Daggubati, Dev Ramnath, Kulappulli Leela, Prithvi Rajan, Guru Somasundaram, Shaji Chen, Basil Joseph, and Papri Ghosh. Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has worked on the cinematography department of the entertainer.
Editor Sathish Suriya has been trusted with the editing division of the flick. Art director S Annadurai has designed sets for the movie. Action director Supreme Sundar has choreographed action blocks for the drama. The project is backed by Aakash Baskaran under the banner house Dawn Pictures. Actor and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin has bagged the theatrical rights of the venture and will be releasing it under his production house Red Giant Movies.
On the professional front, actor Sivakarthikeyan will soon begin to shoot for his next entertainer tentatively titled SK 26 under the direction of story teller Venkat Prabhu, a couple of untitled films under Cibi Chakaravarthi and Pushkar – Gayatri.
On the other hand, actor Jayam Ravi is eagerly awaiting successive release in Karathey Babu directed by Ganesh K Babu in which he has costarred with actors Shakthi Vasudevan, Nassar, K S Ravi Kumar, & VTV Ganesh, and Genie filmed by Bhuvanesh Arjunan in which he has shared screen space with actresses Krithi Shetty & Kalyani Priyadarshan. The Tik Tik Tik actor is presently busy shooting for his future dramas Bro Code crafted by Karthik Yogi in which he will be seen alongside actress Sri Gouri Priya, and Thani Oruvan 2 directed by Mohan Raja in which he will be reuniting with actress Nayanthara.
