Actor Vijay Sethupathi had his last outing in the romantic action-comedy flick Thalaivan Thalaivii helmed by Pandiraj with Malayalam actress Nithya Menen as female lead. Actor Arvind Swamy was last seen on screens in Tamil in Meiyazhagan scripted by Prem Kumar with actors Karthi and Sri Divya in lead roles. Both the actors will soon have their next release via the upcoming silent film titled Gandhi Talks. Bollywood director Kishor Pandurang Belekar has written and crafted the film.
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam fame has been cast as the female lead in the drama. The project was predominantly shot in and around the neighborhoods of Mumbai. Gandhi Talks will be released in theaters worldwide on 30th of January. The makers have begun to promote the flick across various platforms. As part of it, they had recently shared the teaser of the movie. They have now released a single from the venture on social media.
Taking to his official X handle, actor Vijay Sethupathi himself dropped a special poster along with a link to the song Milirum Oliye from Gandhi Talks and captioned it, “When emotions find a tune – pure, personal and powerful. Singer Mohammad Aslam has lent his voice for the track. Lyricist Krithika Nelson has written the lyrics for the song. The number is mixed by Suresh Permal & Pradeep Menon, and mastered by Suresh Permal. Oscar recipient A R Rahman has handled musical gears for the flick. He is collaborating with actor Vijay Sethupathi for the second time after Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
Apart from Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, and Aditi Rao Hydari, the casting crew of Gandhi talks also has actors Siddharth Jadhav, Mahesh Manjrekar, Durgaprasad Mahapatra, Bagavathi Perumal, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Vanita Kharat, Nilesh Divekar, Anshuman Mishra, Manali Chakravarty Aaina, and Shruti Puranik portraying various supporting characters.
Cinematographer Karann B Rawat has taken care of the cinematography division of the movie. Editor Ashish Mhatre has been signed in to oversee the editing department of the venture. Art director Santosh Panigrahi has engineered sets for the entertainer. Stunt director Punit Sain has fashioned action blocks for the project.
Gandhi Talks is funded by Rajesh Kejriwal under the production label Kyoorius in affiliation with Umesh Kumar Bansal & Gurpal Sachar under the production banner Movie Mill Entertainment in association with Meerra Chopraa under the production company Pincmoon Meta Studios along with Sanjeev Jaiswal for the production house Zee Studios.
On the professional side, actor Vijay Sethupathi is enthusiastically expecting the release of Train directed by Mysskin in which he has romanced actress Shruthi Haasan, Pisasu 2 also filmed by Mysskin in which he has teamed up with actresses Andrea Jeremiah & Poorna, and his maiden Tamil web series Kaattaan crafted by M Manikandan in which he has collaborated with actors Milind Soman & Balaji Shaktivel.
The DSP actor is now busy shooting for his next venture Arasan scripted by auteur Vetri Maaran in which he will be sharing screen space with actor Silambarasan, and an untitled pan Indian film helmed by Telugu director Puri Jagannadh in which he will be seen alongside Bollywood actress Tabu and Kannada actor Duniya Vijay.
