Kishore’s Mugai Trailer: Hints At An Intriguing Thriller Drama!

Actor Kishore Kumar G is one of the versatile thespians in South Indian cinema. The Polladhavan actor had his last outing in the likes of a short in the romantic anthology series Modern Love Chennai which recently hit the amazon prime OTT video streaming platform. The series was tagged with positive reviews. But is yet to attract the attention of the digital audience. The Pettaikaali actor has now put that behind him, and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film titled Mugai in which he has played the lead role. Malayalam actress Aarsha Chandini Baiju will be making her debut in Tamil cinema with her female lead part in the flick. Story teller Ajith Kumar J has written and directed the venture. The entertainer which went on floors some time ago with a small pooja ceremony is now wrapped, and is in the post production, shaping up for release. 

The production team has now unveiled the trailer of the drama on social media. Taking to their official twitter page, Saregama South has dropped a poster from the drama along with a link to the trailer of Mugai, and wrote, “Haunted by the shadows of guilt: A portrait of redemption. Mugai trailer is out now!” Here is the tweet made by the production unit. 

Two-and-a-half-minute trailer video opens with a shot of a petromax lamb to a phone call. A woman attends the call, and says hello. A person enquiries, “Is bro with you, Malar?” The woman responds, “He’s sitting in the hall.” The person says, “By nature he’s quite reserved. I think he’s hesitating to stay with us. You make him feel comfortable.” The woman responds, “Hmmm . . . okay dear.” Following which we see actress Aarsha Chandini Baiju ask Kishore, “Are you still a bachelor?” Then we have a scene where she tells him, “I had a gut feeling when you were 17, you’ll land up like this at my doorstep. My intuition was right.” Then the scene cuts to actor Radha Ravi reprimanding the actor in a phone call, “Bloody scumbag! What have you done? I asked you to uproot the tree, you shoot the fence and rip it apart instead!” The trailer ends with the actress mouthing, “Is it that easy to abuse a girl?” The trailer has gone viral on social media, and has clocked millions of views. 

Apart from actors Kishore Kumar G and Aarsha Chandini Baiju, the casting department of the movie has artists Radha Ravi, Samuthrakani, Soundhararajan, and G M Kumar depicting various other supporting roles. Music director Sakthi has composed music for the drama. Cinematographer Arjun Accot has been behind the lens for the flick. Editor Santhosh T has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the movie. Action director Ashok Master has choreographed action moves for the venture. The project is funded by K Santhosh under the banner house Light House Media Production along with B Dharmarajulu for the production banner Sri Dharma Productions, Ajith Kumar J for production company Jasper Studios and Kishore Kumar G for Viathaara. 

On the work front, actor Kishore Kumar G who was last seen on small screens in the web series Modern Love Chennai is getting ready for consecutive releases. He is awaiting the release of his next venture titled Jailer helmed by storyteller Nelson Dilip Kumar in which he will be seen alongside actors Rajinikanth, Shiva Rajkumar, and Tamannaah, and a couple of Kannada flicks christened Nathuram directed by film maker Vinu Balanja in which he has shared screen space with actors Rishab Shetty, and Ganavi Lakshman, Thrilling crafted by story teller Ashok Patil. The actor will soon begin to shoot for his untitled project under the direction of Thejaswi K Nag in which he will be collaborating with actor Shiva Rajkumar. On the other hand, actress Aarsha Chandini Baiju who was last seen in Mukundan Unni Associates is currently busy shooting for her upcoming drama Madhura Manohara Moham scripted by Stephy Zaviour in which she will be associating with actress Rajisha Vijayan, for Qurbani helmed by Geo V in which she will be co starring with actor Shane Nigam, and for a project tentatively titled NP 42 filmed by Haneef Adeni in which she will be romancing actor Nivin Pauly.
