Actor Jai was last seen on screens in the romedy drama Coffee With Kaadhal which hit the screens under the directorial of Sundar C with actors Jiiva, Malvika Sharma, and Amritha Aiyer in the lead roles. Unfortunately, the movie opened to negative reviews and had a tepid response at the box office. The actor has now moved on and is getting ready for the release of his next entertainer titled Theera Kaadhal. Actresses Aishwarya Rajesh, and Sshivada have played female lead roles. Director Robin Venkatesan who had previously directed Adhe Kangal and Petromax has helmed the venture. He has worked on the script along with writer G R Surendarnath. The project which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony, is now in the post production stage getting fine tuned for release.
Now, the production house has unveiled the trailer of the film on social media along with its release date. Theera Kaadhal is slated to hit the theaters on May 26th. Actress Aishwarya Rajesh has shared the trailer. Taking to her official twitter handle, the actress dropped a link to the trailer of Theera Kaadhal, and wrote, “Presenting the trailer of Theera Kaadhal an eternal love tale with roller coaster of emotions! Two minute trailer opens to shot of a sunset in sea with actors Jai, and Aishwarya Rajesh enjoying the view. From the trailer one could gauge that actors Jai, and Aishwarya Rajesh are ex-lovers. Their lives again converge. But this time Jai is married with kids. Earlier speaking about the film, story teller Robin Venkatesan said, “Theera Kaadhal is a relationship drama. It explores the relationship between three characters. I think it will be very relatable to a broad set of audience. People looking to mingle, people in relationships, people who have broken up, and people who have moved on from relationships.” Talking about how the flick happened, he stated, “The idea of Theera Kaadhal evolved from a short story. I and Surendarnath were working on a short story of sorts. The beginning moment of the story got us very excited. So, we gradually developed that part into a feature film script.”
Apart from actors Jai, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Sshivada, the casting department of the drama has actors Vridhhi Vishal, Amzath Khan, and Abdool Lee depicting various other supporting parts. Music director Siddhu Kumar of Bachelor fame has composed music for the film. Cinematographer Ravi Varman Neelamagam has been behind the lens for the movie. The editing department of the flick has been handed over to editor Prasanna G K. Art director Ramu Thangaraj has erected sets for the project. Master Don Ashok has choreographed action blocks for the venture. The movie is produced by Allirajah Subashkaran for the production label Lyca Production.
On the work front, actor Jai who had his last outing in Coffee With Kaadhal is currently busy shooting for four of his untitled flicks under the direction of Gopi Nainar, Atlee, Suseenthiran, and Ramkumar Loganathan. Besides these films, the actor has Breaking News helmed by Andrew Pandian in which he has shared screen space with actress Bhanu Sree, and Khakhee crafted by A Senthil Kumar in which he has co starred with actor Vijay Antony in various stages of post-production shaping up for release. Actress Sshivada who was last seen on screens in Tamil in Vallavanukkum Vallavan is currently busy shooting for Kattam under the direction of director Rajan Madhav, and for Iravaakaalam scripted by director Ashwin Saravanan in which she will be romancing actor S J Suryah.
On the other hand, actress Aishwarya Rajesh who was last seen on screens in Tamil in Farhana is currently getting ready for the release of her next flick christened Mohandas helmed by director Mazhar Kamran in which she will be seen alongside actor Vishnu Vishal. The Kaaka Muttai actress is currently busy shooting for her upcoming Tamil venture christened Manik directed by Samrat Chakraborty in which she will be collaborating with actress Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, for Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga crafted by director Dinesh Lakshmanan in which she will be associating with actor Arjun Sarja, and for three of her Malayalam movies titled Pulimada scripted by A. K. Sajan in which she will be co starring with actor Joju George, for Ajayante Randam Moshanam crafted by Jithin Laal in which she will be seen alongside actor Tovino Thomas, and for Her filmed by Anish M Thomas. Apart from these entertainers, the actress has Idam Porul Yaeval filmed by Seenu Ramasamy in which she has co starred with actors Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Vishal, and Dhruva Natchathiram crafted by Gautham Vasudev Menon in which she has romanced actor Vikram in different stages of post-production getting refined for release.
