Actor Yogi Babu is a busy artist in Tamil cinema with numerous projects in his kitty. The actor, quite efficiently swings between donning lead hero roles as well as playing the sidekicks of leading heroes. The actor was last seen on screens in mass action masala movie The Legend which hit the screens under the direction of director J D Jerry. The entertainer had a disastrous opening and became a troll material for meme creators. But the actor has moved on to his next project. The actor is currently busy shooting for his next venture titled Boomer Uncle which was earlier christened as Contractor Nesamani. Actor Robo Shankar plays the second hero of the flick. The comedy drama has been written and directed by Swadees M S. Actress Oviya Helen will essay the female lead role. The shooting for the flick is underway in full swing.
Now, the production house has shared the first look poster of the flick on social media. Producer C V Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment has shared the first look poster. Taking to his official twitter account, the producer shared the first look poster of Boomer Uncle and wrote, “Most excited to unveil the character look of Boomer Uncle. It is said that the production unit of the entertainer is in plans to release the movie by the end of this year. But it is unclear whether the drama will be released in the theaters as Sony Liv OTT video streaming platform has bagged the rights of the drama. An official announcement regarding the release is expected to be made soon.
Apart from actors Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, and Oviya Helen, the film has actors M S Bhaskar, Bala, Tiger Thangadurai, and Madhu Sri essaying various other supporting roles. The musical department of the drama has been handed over to music director Dharma Prakash. Cinematographer Subash Dhandapani has been shouldering the camera for the entertainer. The editing division of the film has been bestowed to editor S Elayaraja. The project is bankrolled by Anbu under the banner house Olympia Movies along with Karthik K Thillai for the production house AVS Entertainments.

The Trip actor is currently busy shooting for several of his upcoming projects. He is shooting for Saloon under the directorial of film maker Muthu Kumaran in which he will be sharing the screen space with actress Sanjana Singh, for Coffee With Kaadhal filmed by Sundar C in which he will be co starring with actors Jiiva and Jai, for Kasethan Kadavulada directed by storyteller R Kannan in which he will be seen with actor Shiva, for Varisu scripted by Vamshi Paidipally in which he will be playing the sidekick of actor Vijay. Apart from these ventures, the actor has Naane Varuven scripted by director Selvaraghavan in which he has collaborated with actor Dhanush, and Thalai Nagaram 2 helmed by storyteller V Z Dhorai in which he has co starred with actor Sundar C in various stages of post-production getting shaped for release.
