Actor Yogi Babu needs introduction no more as he is one of the most happening actors of Tamil cinema. The growth of the actor from a television show co writer to the leading comedian of Tamil cinema acts as a ray of hope for many that come around the cinema industry with the dream of making it big in the silver screen. The actor who had a successful last outing in the comedy action entertainer Jackpot which had actress Jyothika and Revathi in the lead roles, is gearing up for the release of his next comedy entertainer titled as Puppy. Now, the first look poster of the film has been launched on social media.
Actor RJ Balaji has unveiled the poster on his social media account. Taking to his twitter handle the actor shared the first look poster of the flick and wrote, ‘Here it is, Naughty Puppy first look. Congrats to team Puppy.’ The interesting thing about the animated first look poster is that it features the portrait of saint Nithyanandha and porn star Jonny Sins in the background while actors Yogi Babu and Varun Isari Kamalakannan along with a dog gives a strangely fishy look as if they were looking in to something cringe worthy. The first look poster is sure to grab the attention of many in the state and is going to be the talk of the town this week among the youths. The comedy entertainer is scripted and directed by debutant story teller Nutty Dev. We will have to wait to see what the production unit has got for us in the trailer of the movie. The project is expected to hit the screens in the month of November.
Actor Varun Isari Kamalakannan who has played supporting roles in the flicks like Thalaivaa, Bogan, and Vanamagan will be playing the lead role in the flick. The actor will be romancing actress Samyuktha Hedge in the venture while Yogi Babu will be seen in a pivotal role. The motion picture is produced by none other than Varun’s uncle Isari Ganesh under his home banner Vels Films International. The musical instruments for the drama will be handled by Dharan Kumar. While cinematographer Deepak Kumar will be seen behind the camera for the movie, Richard will be heading the editing department of the entertainer.
On the work front, actor Yogi Babu is currently busy shooting for the super star Rajinikanth starrer Darbar and has recently wrapped up shooting for his portion in the thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil. The actor also has numerous projects in his pipeline including Shaitan Ka Bachcha, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Nindru Kolvaan, Asura Guru, etc. On the other hand, actor Varun Isari Kamalakannan who is gearing up for the release of Puppy also has a flick named as Vinodhan directed by Victor Jayaraj in which he has shared the screen space with Vedhika and Salony Luthra, waiting in the kitty to hit the screens for a long time now.
