Actor Kalaiyarasan had a release last month in the psychological techno thriller Trending crafted by N Sivaraj with actress Priyalaya as female lead. Actor Attakathi Dinesh was last seen on screens last year in the superhit film Lubber Pandhu directed by Thamizharasan Pachamuthu with actors Harish Kalyan, Swasika, and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy in lead roles. Both the actors will soon have a release via the upcoming drama christened Thandakaaranyam.
Story teller Athiyan Athirai, who shot to fame with Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, has inked and directed the entertainer. Actress Riythvika of Madras fame has essayed a prominent role in the movie. The makers had earlier unveiled the first look poster of the flick on social media. They have now announced the release date of the film. Thandakaaranyam is all set to hit theaters worldwide on 19th of September this year.
Taking to his official X handle, story teller Pa Ranjith dropped a special poster of Thandakaaranyam and wrote, “A wild truth behind wildlife and its warriors Thandakaaranyam. Thandakaaranyam Release Poster
The special poster shared by Pa Ranjith has a front view shot of actor Attakathi Dinesh’s face in the background half of which is covered by the side view face of actor Kalaiyarasan. The first look poster of the flick which was released earlier this year had actor Kalaiyarasan in the background hold a red flag, while a nervous Attakathi Dinesh was seen standing with a sharp tree twig in his hand waiting to defend himself. Actor Kalaiyarasan will be seen in the role of a cop, while actor Attakathi Dinesh is said to have played a farmer in Thandakaaranyam.
Apart from Attakathi Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan, and Riythvika, the entertainer also has actors Vinsu Sam, Arul Doss, Yuvan Mayilsamy, Muthukumar, Saranya Ravichandran, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Bala Saravanan in various supporting characters. Music composer Justin Prabhakaran has worked on the musical division of the movie. Cinematographer Pratheep Kaliraja has taken care of the cinematography department of the entertainer.
Editor R K Selva has been brought on board to bring coherence to the drama. Art director T Ramalingam has designed sets for the movie. Stunt masters Stunner Sam, A S Sudeshkumar, and Phoenix Prabu have worked in tandem to fashion action moves for the venture. The project is backed by Pa Ranjith under the production label Neelam Studios in affiliation with S Sai Devanand and S Sai Venkateswaran for the banner house Learn and Teach Production.
On the professional side, actor Kalaiyarasan is eagerly anticipating the release of his next project Bison directed by story teller Mari Selvaraj in which he has shared screen space with actor Dhruv Vikram, Mugam helmed by director Sriram D Prasath, Moondram Kan crafted by director Sago Ganesan in which he has costarred with actors Vidhaarth, Santhosh Prathap, & Teju Ashwini, and his long delayed venture Titanic Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum scripted by M Janakiraman in which he has featured alongside actress Anandhi.
On the other hand, actor Attakathi Dinesh is currently busy shooting for his future drama Vettuvam under the direction of Pa Ranjith in which he will be collaborating with actors Arya, Ashok Selvan, and Sobhita Dhulipala. Apart from this venture, the Pallu Padama Paathuka actor has a couple of his long-delayed entertainers christened Therum Porum scripted by Vikram Sugumaran, and Vaarayo Vennilave filmed by R Sasidharan in which he has teamed up with actresses Kavya M Shetty and Haripriya.
