Actor Arulnithi has quietly earned a decent fan following in the state with his unique choice of movies. The Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum actor had his last outing in the likes of the crime drama Thiruvin Kural which hit the screens under the direction of story teller Harish Prabhu with actress Aathmika in the female lead part. The flick opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Thus, it had a bad box office collection. The actor has now put that behind him, and is getting ready for the release of his upcoming venture titled Kazhuvethi Moorkkan. Actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame has essayed the female lead role. Director Sy Gowtham Raj of Raatchasi fame has written and directed the entertainer. The movie which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony a while back, was shot in and around the surroundings of Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, and Virudhunagar. Now, the drama is in the post production stage getting fine tuned for release.
Earlier, we had reported that the production house is eyeing to bring the entertainer to theaters for this year’s summer vacation. Now, the production unit themselves have confirmed the news on social media. Actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu himself has shared the news. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor shared a poster from the film and wrote, “Kazhuvethi Moorkkan getting released in cinemas in May 2023. The poster shared by the actor has him standing in front of a wall which has a painting of one of the finest minds of India Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar with the words, “The world is in a dark room, people who say caste exist also exist.” The production house is currently working on blocking a release date. An official announcement regarding the release date will be made as and when a date is reserved. The production house had released the teaser of the drama on social media last month. The teaser enjoyed a great reception among the audience, and has set high expectations on the venture. The trailer of the movie is expected to be released in a few days.
Apart from actors Arulnithi, and Dushara Vijayan, the casting division of the movie has actors Santhosh Prathap, Saya Devi, Munishkanth, Sarathlokith Sava, Raja Simman, and Yaar Kannan portraying various other supporting roles. Music director D. Imman has taken care of the musical department of the film. Cinematographer Sridhar has done cinematography for the flick. Editor Nagooran has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the project. Art director Mahendra has designed the background for the venture. Action director Ganesh has choreographed action sequences for the entertainer. The project is produced by S. Ambeth Kumar under the production label Olympia Movies.
On the work front, actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu who was last seen on screens in Thiruvin Kural is currently busy shooting for the sequel of DeMonte Colony under the direction of story teller R. Ajay Gnanamuthu in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar. On the other hand, actress Dushara Vijayan who had her last outing in the romantic musical drama Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is currently busy shooting for her upcoming project titled Aneethi directed by story teller Vasantha Balan in which she will be co starring with actor Arjun Das. Following which she will begin to shoot for Raayan which is set to be directed by actor Dhanush in which she will be seen alongside actors S J Suryah, Vishnu Vishal, and Kalidas Jayaram.
