Actor Vikram Prabhu was last seen on screens in the epic historical movie Ponniyin Selvan II which hit the theaters under the direction of story teller Mani Ratnam with an ensemble cast. Though it did not enjoy the reception that the first installment of the franchise enjoyed, it managed to make a decent box office collection. The actor who is basking in the success of the flick, is now gearing up for the release of his next venture christened Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku. Actress Vani Bhojan has essayed the female lead role in the film. Debutant director Karthik Adwait has written and directed the flick. Writer Dilsuyan J has penned dialogues for the project. The entertainer which went on floors a long while ago with a small pooja ceremony has been wrapped, and is in the post production getting fine tuned for release.
The production house has now announced the release date of the flick on social media. Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku is all set to hit the theaters on 23rd of June. Actor Vikram Prabhu himself has shared the news. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor dropped a poster from the entertainer, and wrote, “Release date is locked. Earlier speaking to a leading media house about the flick, director Karthik Adwait said, “Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku is one of the popular phrases from Bharathiyar’s work. I am quite honored to be able to have it as my movie’s title. It sort of reflects the nuclei of the story. The audience will get it while they watch the drama. The story is about a common man who gets embroiled in a lethal problem. The character he exhibits to resolve the issue is where the entertainer will stand out. The project is not just another commercial venture. It has more layers to it. We have put a lot of effort in shaping the lead characters. Even the antagonist part will be powerful. I am confident the audience will have a great experience watching the drama.”
Apart from actors Vikram Prabhu, and Vani Bhojan, the casting department of the venture has Kannada actor Dhananjaya, Anand, Vela Ramamoorthy, and Vivek Prasanna portraying various other supporting roles. Music director Mahathi Swara Sagar has composed music for the entertainer. Cinematographer Sridhar has been behind camera for the venture. Editor C S Prem Kumar has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the project. Art director P L Subenthar has erected sets for the venture. The action blocks of the entertainer are choreographed by stunt master Dinesh Kasi. The project is produced by director Karthik Adwait under his home banner Karthik Movie House.

Apart from these flicks, the actress has a woman centric film Casino crafted by director Mark Joel, Pagaivanuku Arulvai filmed by Anis in which she has associated with actor Sasi Kumar, Love directed by R P Bala in which she has co starred with actor Bharath, and Thazh Thiravaa crafted by Bharani Sekaran, and a couple of untitled movies with actors Vidharth and Jai in different stages of post-production shaping up for release.
