Lyca Productions has recently announced the release date of their two big projects. Their longstanding production Indian 2 is all set to hit screens by June. Superstar Rajinikanth’s Starrer “Vettaiyan” will hit screens on October 11. Their other biggie Ajith Kumar starrer “Vidaamuyarchi” progressing fast and is expected to hit screens by early next year. Currently, the final leg of the shooting is underway in Hyderabad. According to the sources, the Production house Lyca has planned to release the movie for Diwali which is slated for October 31st. Also, Saraswathi Pooja and Ayutha Pooja are coming in the same month (October 11 and 12).
Makers will lock any of these two days in the coming days but currently, it remains under speculation. The movie has Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan playing crucial roles. Anirudh is composing the music and Philominraj is handling the editing works for the movie. SR Kathir is taking care of camera work and Anbariv is doing stunt choreography. Directed by T.J Gnanavel the movie was shot at Trivandrum, Tirunelveli and Tuticorin.
Rajinikanth was last seen in Laal Salaam directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The movie has not done well at the box office. So, he is expecting “Vettaiyan” to turn out to be a massive blockbuster for him.
