Director Sunder C wore the actor’s hat after a long time in the crime thriller Pattampoochi which hit the screens under the direction of Badri with actors Jai and Honey Rose in the lead roles. The entertainer failed to get the attention of the audience, and left the theaters unnoticed. The Veerappu actor has now put that behind him and has moved on to his next project. The actor is gearing up for the release of Thalainagaram 2. Director V. Z. Dhorai has helmed the movie. The first installment of Thalainagaram was released back in the year 2006. It had actor Sunder C in the role of a henchman who seeks to put his criminal life behind, and tries to live an honest life. The project which hit the theaters as an underdog film received critical acclamations, and went on to be a commercially successful drama. After 16 years, the actor has decided to make a sequel for it. The flick is currently in the post production.
Now, the production unit has released the teaser of the film on social media. Music director Ghibran has unveiled the teaser. Taking to his official twitter handle, the musician dropped a link to the teaser along with a poster from the flick, and wrote, “Here is the teaser of Thalainagaram 2. A V. Z. Dhorai film. The nearly two minutes teaser cut opens to a close range shot of blades getting horned. We have the intro of actor Sunder C who mouths, “I should have died by hunger when I was 8 years old. By the time I turned 18, there was not a single spot in my body where the knife had not grazed. Quite a number of cops fired at me from all angles. I should have died in the encounter. But if still the fate has kept me alive, then it means there is a reason for it Maara.” Actor Sunder C plays the same character of Right that he played in the first version. The teaser introduces us to the violent world of Right. We also learn that Right returns to his life of crime once again.
First part of the entertainer was directed by storyteller Suraj. For some reasons actor Sunder C has opted to go with director V. Z. Dhorai directed the second. It is said that the production house is in plans to bring the film to the theaters for Christmas holidays. Apart from actor Sunder C, Thalainagaram 2 has actress Palak Lalwani essaying the female lead part. The casting division of the drama has actors Thambi Ramaiha, Ravi Maria, Prabhakar of Bhahubali fame, Aayira, Jaise Jose, Vishal Rajan, Seran Raj, and Gopi Gpr in various other supporting roles. Music director Ghibran has composed the music for the flick. Cinematographer E Krishnasamy has shouldered the camera for the movie. Editor Sudharshan has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the project. Don Ashok has designed the action blocks for the venture. Art director A. K. Muthu has erected sets for the drama. The project is produced by director V. Z. Dhorai himself along with S. M. Prabhakaran under the production label Right Eye Theaters.
On the work front, actor Sunder C who had his last outing as an actor in the psychological crime thriller Pattampoochi is currently busy shooting for One 2 One under the direction of K Thirugnanam in which he will be romancing actress Ragini Dwivedi. Apart from this project, the actor has Vallaan crafted by director Mani Seiyon in which he has shared the screen space with actresses Tanya Hope, Chandhini Tamilarasan, Hebah Patel, and Abhirami Venkatachalam in the post production getting fine-tuned for release.
