Actor Arya who has become a bit picky in selecting his projects was last seen on screens in the science fiction drama Captain which hit the theaters under the direction of film maker Shakti Soundar Rajan with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead. The movie which hit the screens amidst high expectations did not live up to the expectations of the audience, and thus had a weak commercial business. But the Aranmanai 3 actor has put that behind him, and will soon begin to shoot for his next entertainer titled Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam. Director M Muthaiah of Kutty Puli fame will be directing the entertainer. The flick recently went on floors with a small pooja ceremony.

The title has garnered a lot of attention as well. This is the first-time actor Arya has teamed up with filmmaker M Muthaiah. The director is known for his fierce rural based dramas. With the first look, one can be certain that Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam is going to be in line with his filmography.
Apart from actor Arya, Kather Basha Endra Muthuramalingam has actress Siddhi Idnani of Venthu Thaninthathu Kaadu fame playing the female lead part. The rest of the cast that will be part of the project is expected to be finalized and announced soon. The musical instruments for the drama will be handled by G V Prakash Kumar. Cinematographer R Velraj has been roped in to crank camera for the flick. The editing division of the drama has been handed over to editor Venkat Raajen. Master Anal Rasu will be choreographing the action blocks for the film. Art director Veeramani Ganesan will be erecting the sets for the drama. The project is bankrolled by Shibu Thameens under the banner house Drumsticks Productions along with Zee Studios.
On the work front, actor Arya who was last seen on screens in the action thriller Captain is currently busy shooting for his upcoming untitled project which is crafted by story teller Nalan Kumarasamy. The Sarpatta Parambarai actor will soon make his debut in the small screen with his web series christened The Village helmed by director Milind Rau which is in the post production getting refined for release. On the other hand, actress Siddhi Idnani who had her last outing in Tamil in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is currently busy shooting for her next venture Nooru Kodi Vaanavil under the direction of Sasi in which she will be sharing the screen space with actor Harish Kalyan.
