Ace Actor Siva Karthikeyan’s growth in the Tamil cinema industry is phenomenal. Fondly called as “Prince” by his fans, the actor was last seen in Ayalaan which hits the screens for this Pongal. Though the movie hasn’t done well at the box office it has fared better than his last outings “Maaveeran” and “Prince”. The Actor is currently working with Director Rajkumar Periyasamy of” Rangoon” Fame. The project is bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Movies International. Siva Karthikeyan has wrapped his portions for the movie and he is moving on to his highly anticipated next project with Ace filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss.
The Project is tentatively titled as “SK23 ” and leading Telugu Producer Tirupati Prasad is producing this project under his banner Sri Lakshmi Movies. It’s going to be the second collaboration for the Director and Producer as the duo has already joined hands for the bilingual Mahesh Babu starrer “Spyder” in 2016. Coming back to “SK23 ” the project is said to be made in Military background and Siva Karthikeyan is undergoing a massive body transformation for the project. The movie marks the first collaboration between the Actor and Director. The project began today with an auspicious pooja ceremony. Pictures and videos regarding the pooja are expected to be released by February 17th.
As per the latest reports Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth has been roped in for the female lead role. Earlier it was Mrunal Thakur who was rumoured to get paired up with Siva Karthikeyan. However, the official announcement has not been made yet but Cinema Trackers suggest that A.R Mugadoss has locked Rukmini for the project. Actress Mrunal Thakur is the latest sensation across India. She has got dozens of projects under her kitty. Earlier the team is very keen on roping her but a clash in dates and salary issues prompt the movie team to look for other options. If this has happened it could have been the proper Tamil debut for Mrunal Thakur.

Meanwhile, Rukmini has become a heartthrob for movie fans with her latest Kannada romance flick “Sapta Sagaradaache Ello”. Interestingly she is all set to make her Kollywood debut opposite to Vijay Sethupathi in “VJS 51” Directed by Arumugakumar. The team has wrapped the shooting and the project is in the post-production stage and is expected to hit the screens by July this year. Apart from Rukmini Vasanth “SK23” has also got veteran Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Thuppakki Fame Vidyut Jammwal doing pivotal roles.
Ace Music Director Anirudh is expected to take of the Music and Santhosh Shivan is all set to handle the camera work for the movie. Editor Sreekhar Prasad is roped in for editing. A detailed list of cast and crew is expected to be released by this weekend. Though the pooja has performed today shooting is expected to commence from March 2nd week. If everything goes as per the schedule we can expect the movie get released in theatres for the next Pongal. A.R Murgadoss has lastly directed “Darbar” which was released for Pongal 2019. The Ace Filmmaker is in a position to prove his mantle. So you can expect a Mass Commercial entertainer like “Thuppakki”.
