Director H. Vinoth is one of the notable directors in the Kollywood Industry. He has been known for making movies with gripping storylines and engaging screenplay. He lastly directed Ajith starrer blockbuster movie “Thunivu” which was released for Pongal 2023 and clashed with Thalapthy Vijay starrer “Varisu“. Despite the clash, the movie was widely received by the audience not only in Tamil Nadu but also in overseas countries as well. “Thunivu” was one of the top grossers in the Kollywood industry last year. Since then Director has been in talks to direct Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan.
The Duo has released a video and a couple of pictures to add validity to the speculations. As per the reports, the talks went well initially and Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan liked the script narrated by H. Vinoth. But considering the budget and time the project was put on hold as of now. Kamal is busy shooting for “Indian 3” and “Thug Life”. After that, he is all set to join hands with ace stunt choreographers Anbariv for their first directorial venture bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films International.
After this Director H. Vinoth is rumoured to do a small-budget movie starring Comedian Yogi Babu in the lead role. Putting an end to the rumours and speculations, sources close to H. Vinoth confirm that the acclaimed director is in talks with Dhanush for his next project. Sources also inform that the Director has narrated the script to Dhanush which also interests the actor.
Actor Dhanush was last seen in the Movie “Captain Miller” directed by Arun Matheswaran. Despite the hype, the movie was not able to live up to the expectations and did decently at the box office. The versatile actor is currently shooting with Telugu director Shekar Kammula for a movie tentatively titled “D51”. Once he is done with this movie and his prior commitments the actor is expected to allocate dates to H. Vinoth’s movie from June this year.
As per the latest reports surfacing on social media H.Vinoth is expected to begin his pre-production work in March. Touted as an Action Drama, the movie will be made in a Military backdrop and The National Award-winning actor is expected to play a dual role. Further details about the movie are kept under wraps but as per the Cinema Trackers the movie is expected to be made on a huge budget and a leading production house from the industry is expected to bankroll the project.
Also, the Movie will be made in Pan-Indian flavour and leading actors and technicians from other industries are expected to be roped in. The duo was about to join hands together way back in 2018. Initially, Dhanush has shown interest after watching H. Vinoth’s “Dheeran Athigaaram Ondru ” But the Director was committed to back-to-back projects with Ace Actor Ajith Kumar hence it got delayed. Hopefully, things will materialise and the project will become one of the noteworthy movies in the Kollywood Industry.
