Filmmaker turned actor SJ Suriya who had a successful run as a director in the initial stage of his career, is now having a great time in the industry as an actor. The actor is currently basking on the success of Maanaadu which hit the screens under the direction of story teller Venkat Prabhu with actor Silmbarasan in the lead. The actor is now gearing up for the release of his next venture christened Kadamaiyai Sei. The project is helmed by film maker Venkat Raghavan of Muthina Kathirika fame. Actress Yashika Anand has essayed the female lead role in the entertainer. Now, the production house has shared the trailer of the movie on social media.

In the flick, actor SJ Suriya will be seen in the role of an unemployed graduate who hides this fact from his family members. In order to make a living he soon takes up a job as a watchman in an apartment. The trailer that starts off in a funny tone gets a bit serious in the middle, and then turns funnier once again. From what we see in the trailer, one can safely presume that the film is going to thread comedy for a good portion.
Apart from actors SJ Suriya and Yashika Anand, the casting department of the drama has actors Mottai Rajendran, Vincent Ashokan, Charles Vinoth, Rajasimman, and Sesu essaying various other supporting roles. Music director Arun Raj has composed the music for the film. Cinematographer Vinoth Rathnasamy has been behind the camera for the flick. Editor N. B. Srikanth will be taking care of the editing department. The project is bankrolled by T. R. Ramesh under the banner house Ganesh Entertainment along with Zakir Hussain of Nahar Films. The theatrical rights of the flick in Tamil Nadu, is bagged by Chimbu Cine Arts.
On the work front, actor SJ Suryah who had a release in Maanaadu lastly is currently busy shooting for Bommai under the direction of story teller Radha Mohan in which he will be sharing the screen space with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar. Following which he will begin to shoot for Mark Anthony which is set to be directed by film maker Adhik Ravichandran of AAA fame in which he will be seen alongside actor Vishal. Apart from these projects the actor has his long-delayed ventures titled Uyarndha Manithan helmed by Tamilvannan, and Iravaakaalam directed by Ashwin Saravanan. On the other hand, actress Yashika Aannand has several films lined up in her pipeline. The actress who was last seen in R23 Criminal’s Diary will next be seen in a cameo appearance in Arav’s Raja Bheema helmed by storyteller Naresh Sampath. Following which she will have a back-to-back release in the likes of Bhageera filmed by director Adhik Ravichandran, Sulphur directed by Bhuvan, Ivan Than Uthaman helmed by film maker Magesh, Pambattam, and Bestie.
