Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander has a habit of setting the internet on fire with his special single track of every big venture that he is part of. This really aids in marketing the film among the masses without having to spend much in the advertising section. Most of his special songs that hit the internet before the release of the flick has never failed to be nothing less than a sensational number. The musician who is handling the musical department of actor Vijay’s Beast has kept up his notorious reputation by doing it once again by delivering a peppy number in ‘Arabic Kuthu’. The number has already turned viral and is the caller tune of many of his aficionados.
‘Arabic Kuthu’ opens with Anirudh’s pulsating vocals setting the mood perfectly to get in to the rhythm of the song. As it goes on it gives us a pleasing feel of a fusion – something of Arabic music style and Namma Oru Dabbang Kuthu. Both played together gets the title ‘Arabic Kuthu’. Singer Jonita Gandhi on her side gets on the ride making the trip even more entertaining. One cannot get enough of it the first time we hear it, and apparently, we hit the repeat mode even without us noticing to get the maximum out of it.
Lyricist Sivakarthikeyan for his part lights up the song with his lyrics. He adds Arabic lyrics to flavor the tone and tempo of the music. The lyrics sort of begins, like this, “Halamathi habibo, Halamathi habivan thale, Halamathi habibo, Halamathi habivan tha, Halamathi habibo, Halamathi habivan thale, Halamathi habibo, Halamathi habiboo”. The more we hear the track the harder it gets to keep us from envisioning actor Vijay shaking his legs for it along with actress Pooja Hegde. The anticipation has skyrocketed already subjecting both the cinematography and choreography to immense pressure. It would be interesting to watch the visuals of the song. One thing is for sure, this number and the actor’s dancing prowess bringing the roofs of the theaters down.
There seems to be some sort of magical chemistry between music director Anirudh Ravichander and director Nelson. The duo that started their journey for the first time in actress Nayanthara’s Kolamavu Kokila, where the number, ‘Enakku Kalyana Vayasu’ kept the chart board buzzing, followed it with actor Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor, in which, ‘Chellamma’ made the noise. The combo has come together for the third time, and already half the job is done. When the rest of the numbers make it to the day light, one can be certain that their magic has worked out even this time around.
Actor Vijay was last seen in Master which hit the screens for Pongal 2021. In terms of Beast, the production unit is gearing up for a release in April.
