Actress Amy Jackson was last seen in Tamil cinema in 2.0 which hit the screens back in the year 2018 under the direction of story teller S Shankar with actor Rajinikanth in the lead role. The drama had a great reception among the audience, and went on to be a massive box office success. After the project the Madrasapattinam actress had moved back to London, and was away from Kollywood. Now, nearly after five years the actress is all set to return to Tamil cinema once again through Achcham Enbadhu Illayae. Actor Arun Vijay will be essaying the lead role in the flick. Storyteller A L Vijay who introduced her to Tamil audience is directing the movie. The flick went on floors last year in London with the production house announcing the commencement of shoot with a video from London. The shooting for the drama has been happening in full swing ever since.

A couple of months ago, the production house had unveiled the first look poster of Achcham Enbadhu Illayae which had actor Arun Vijay dressed up in a brown jacket, standing with a little girl. The first look poster garnered the attention of the audience, and has engineered high expectations on the project. Achcham Enbadhu Illayae is touted to be an action thriller which has a father daughter relationship at its heart. It is said that the production team is in plans to wrap the shoot in a tight schedule as they eye to bring the flick to the theaters for summer this year. This is the first-time actor Arun Vijay is collaborating with filmmaker A L Vijay. Achcham Enbadhu Illayae marks the third time association of actress Amy Jackson and director A L Vijay after Madrasapattinam, and Thaandavam.
Apart from actors Arun Vijay, and Amy Jackson, Achcham Enbadhu Illayae has Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan of The Great Indian Kitchen fame making her debut in Tamil cinema. Music director G V Prakash Kumar will be composing music for the entertainer. Cinematographer Sanjay K Vijay has been cranking cameras for the venture. Editor Anthony has been brought on board to edit the project. Stuntman Silva will be choreographing the action blocks for the film. The drama is bankrolled by M Rajashekar along with S Swathi under the production label Shri Shiridi Sai Movies.
On the work front, actor Arun Vijay who had his last outing in the likes of the crime thriller Sinam is currently busy shooting for his next project christened Boxer helmed by director Vivek in which he will be romancing actress Ritika Singh. Apart from this drama, the actor has Agni Siragugal crafted by director Naveen in which he will be seen alongside actress Akshara Haasan, and Borrder scripted by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam in which he has teamed up with actress Regina Cassandra, in various stages of post-production getting refined for release. On the other hand, actress Nimisha Sajayan who was last seen on screens in Malayalam cinema in Oru Thekkan Thallu Case will soon begin to shoot for her upcoming movie titled Chera directed by Lijin Jose in which she will be collaborating with actors Roshan Mathew and Guru Somasundaram. Apart from this project, the actress has a Malayalam movie titled Thuramukham filmed by Rajeev Ravi in which she has co starred with actors Nivin Pauly, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Joju George in the post production getting shaped for release.
