‘One Sun One Moon’ Second Single From Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 Is An Adulation Of The Star!
Actor Rajinikanth last graced the silver screen in the action thriller film Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with actors Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The Kaala actor is now eagerly anticipating the release of his next action-comedy movie Jailer 2. Director Nelson Dilipkumar, who helmed the first edition of the franchise, has also penned and crafted the second part. Actress Ramya Krishnan has played the role of actor Rajinikanth’s wife in the sequel.
Actor S J Suryah is rumored to have portrayed the villain in the movie. The shoot for the flick took place in various areas in Chennai, Coimbatore, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Attappadi, Mysore, and Goa. Jailer 2 is slated to arrive in theaters worldwide on 15th of October in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The makers have been promoting the film by dropping a single and character intro clip of the artists involved in the drama. They have now unveiled the second single from the album on social media.
Taking to their official X handle, the team of Sun Pictures launched a short clip along with a link to the second single ‘One Sun One Moon’ from Jailer 2 and worded, “Innaikkum Ennennaikkum, Oru Thalaivan Dhaan! One Sun One Moon is out now! Rajinikanth, Nelson Dilipkumar, Anirudh Ravichander, Vidya Balan, S J Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, Super Subu, Vijay Kartik Kannan, R Nirmal, Chethan D ’Souza, Jani, D R K Kiran, Sunil Reddy, Pallavi Singh, Suren, Alagiakoothan S, Santhosh Raju, Sivam C Kabilan, Kuchirayar, Riaz K Ahmed, Jailer 2 From Oct 15.” Here is the post made by the production team.
Anirudh Ravichander has sung the song along with singer M S Krsna. Lyricists Super Subu and Heisenberg have written lyrics for the number. The soundtrack is mixed by Plural and mastered by Lucas Pretolesi. Dance master Jani has choreographed dance moves in the song.
Music director Anirudh Ravichander has also orchestrated the musical score for the movie. He is collaborating with actor Rajinikanth for their sixth venture following their chartbuster albums in Petta, Darbar, Jailer, Vettaiyan, and Coolie. Already an item number ‘Ala Bolelo’ in the vocals of Anirudh Ravichander lyrics written by Arunraja Kamaraj, is out from the album.
The casting crew of Jailer 2 also comprises Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Bagavathi Perumal, Sujith Shanker, Ramachandran Durairaj, Abhishek Mishra, Kottayam Nazeer, Vineeth Thattil David, Namo Narayana, Jatin Sarna, Anna Rajan, Bjorn Surrao, Rithu Rocks Rithvik, Hakim Shahjahan, Saravana Vel, Praveen Gadkar, Sunil Sukhada, and Tamizh. Leading actors from multiple film industries Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Hrithik Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, Vijay Sethupathi, and Vinayakan are said to have made guest appearances in the film.
Cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan has operated the camera equipment for the production. Editor R Nirmal has been hired to oversee the editing department of the venture. Art director D R K Kiran has engineered sets for the film. Action director Chethan D’Souza has designed action blocks in the project. Jailer 2 is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner house Sun Pictures.
On the professional side, actor Rajinikanth is now working on his next project Dharman crafted by Ashwath Marimuthu in which he will be featuring with actors Simran, Raashii Khanna, & Yogi Babu. Besides this drama, the Darbar actor will soon begin to shoot for the industry’s most expected project, scripted by Nelson Dilipkumar, which will have him sharing screen space with actor Kamal Hassan after nearly five decades.
On the other hand, actor S J Suryah is awaiting his upcoming Tamil release Iravaakaalam filmed by Ashwin Saravanan in which he has teamed up with actors Wamiqa Gabbi, Sshivada, & Sharath Ravi. The New actor is now busy shooting for his future drama Bro Club crafted by Karthik Yogi in which he will be teaming up with actors Ravi Mohan, Shraddha Srinath, & Sri Gouri Priya, Killer directed and headlined by himself with actress Preethi Asrani as the female lead, and a Telugu film Adhira directed by Sharan Koppisetty in which he will be seen alongside actor Kalyan Dasari.
