Arjun Das’s Love Trailer: A Deep Dive In To Spark Vs Long Term Compatibility!
Actor Arjun Das was last seen on screens in the romantic musical movie Once More helmed by Vignesh Srikanth with actress Aditi Shankar in the female lead role. The Bomb actor is now gearing up for his next release in the digital space via the romantic series christened Love. Director Balaji Mohan, who is known for movies like Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, has directed the entertainer. Writers Shweta Chakravarty, Sharada Subramanian, and Nirmal Williams have penned the episodes.
Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi of Gatta Kusthi fame has depicted the female lead role in the venture. The makers have announced that the series will be available for streaming on Netflix starting 2nd of October in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Earlier, they had shared the teaser of the entertainer on social media. They have now released the trailer of the project.
Taking to his official X timeline, story teller Ranjit Jeyakodi dropped the trailer of Love and worded, “Love trailer is giving such fun, fresh romance vibes! Arjun Das & Aishwarya Lekshmi’s on-screen dynamic looks so effortless. A lovely soundtrack by R Sean Roldan makes me more curious. The two minutes odd trailer of Love opens to actress Aishwarya Lekshmi rejecting Arjun Das, “You are not my type. I will never go out with somebody like you.” He responds, “Yeah. Everyone says that in the beginning.” The scene shifts to a character asking Aishwarya Lekshmi, “How can the CEO of a dating app be single? What would people think?” Following which, Arjun Das’s friend mocks him, “Do you at least know the name of the girl you met yesterday?” He tells him, “What is in a name? There is no spark.”
In a shot, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi expresses her frustration to Arjun Das, “My company has no money. You cheated us out of an award we should have won.” He casually tells her, “What if I invest?” She accepts, “Sixty days challenge. Use Found. If you find a woman, then you should invest.” He suggests, “What if I do not find? You should go on a date with me.” Subsequently, Arjun Das asks Aishwarya Lekshmi, “So, a guy with whom you have no chemistry, is okay for you?” She tells him, “If we are compatible, chemistry will follow.”
Then, we have Arjun Das confronting actress Aishwarya Lekshmi, “Tara, you are scared to acknowledge your feelings for me. Whether you admit it or not, it is the truth.” To which she says, “Do not trust that feeling. Like lightning, it will disappear in an instant.” The trailer ends with Arjun Das telling her, “Let us take a leap of faith, Tara.”
Earlier speaking to a leading media house about the venture director Balaji Mohan divulged, “Love is predicated on the classic ‘opposite personalities attract’ theme. But we have infused the modern dating scenario with the advent of dating apps. It will thread on contemporary dating culture while trying to explore compatibility, chemistry, and the messy nature of relationships.”
The series also includes actors Arjun Chidambaram, Harini, Kiran, and Raja Rudrakodi. Music director Vishruthi Bindal has scored music for the venture. Cinematographer Harish Krishnan has been behind the lens for the project. Editor Sai Muthuraman has been roped in to edit the entertainer. The series is backed by Soundarya Rajinikanth under the production studio May6 Entertainment.
On the professional front, actor Arjun Das is now busy with his future untitled Tamil drama crafted by Ranjit Jeyakodi in which he will be romancing actress Preethi Pagadala, Superhero scripted by Vignesh Venugopal in which he will be working with actress Teju Ashwini, two of his Malayalam flicks Torpedo created by Tharun Moorthy in which he will be partnering with actor Fahadh Faasil, Bilal directed by Amal Neerad in which he will be starring with actors Mammooty & Mamta Mohandas, and a Hindi movie Don 3: The Final Chapter helmed by Farhan Akhtar in which he will be collaborating with actors Vijay Deverakonda, Kriti Sanon, & Kiara Advani.
On the other hand, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi will soon have her next Telugu release in Sambarla Yeti Gattu filmed by K P Rohith in which she has joined forces with actor Sai Dharam Tej. The Maaman actress is now immersed in her next Malayalam film Gangster Of Mundanmala directed by Ronnie Manuel Joseph in which she will be seen alongside actor Nivin Pauly, Bismi Special crafted by Rajesh Ravi in which she will be featuring with actor Nivin Pauly, and a Telugu movie Raaka helmed by Atlee in which she will be teaming up with actors Allu Arjun, Deepika Padukone, & Mrunal Thakur.
