Arjun Das And Aditi Shankar’s Once More Trailer: A Slow And Tender Return To Love!

Actor Arjun Das was last seen on screens in the crime comedy flick Con City crafted by Harish Durairaj with actors Anna Ben and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. The Aneethi actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming romantic entertainer christened Once More. Newbie director Vignesh Srikanth, who wrote dialogues for Arjun Das’s Por, has written and crafted the drama. 

Actress Aditi Shankar of Viruman fame has starred as the female lead in the entertainer. The shoot for the film extensively took place in multiple zones across Chennai. Once More is slated to hit theaters worldwide on 28th of August. The production house is busy promoting the drama. As part of it, they have launched the trailer of the flick on social media. 

Taking to their official X handle, the team of Million Dollar Studios unveiled a special poster along with a link to the trailer of Once More and captioned it, “From heartwarming romance to heartbreaking silence . . . A rollercoaster of emotions awaits in theatres!! Once More Trailer OUT NOW. Written & directed by Vignesh Srikanth. A Hesham Abdul Wahab musical. The two minutes odd trailer of Once More begins with a shot of actress Aditi Shankar asking Arjun Das, “When is your birthday?” He replies, “It was three months ago. Please do not try anything.” She asks him, “Guess when my birthday is?” He quips, “It is not like you are Mother Teresa to know your birthday.” She retorts, “Okay, when is Mother Teresa’s birthday?” The shot cuts to Aditi Shankar introducing herself to Arjun Das, “Raghu, it is me, Anjali!”

In a shot Arjun Das asks Aditi Shankar, “What are you doing over here?” She responds, “Romance! You are already aware that I had a crush on you in college.” He warns her, “Anjali, you are chasing the wrong person. Do not waste your time.” She then jokes, “Oh, so you are that type of person?” Subsequently, Arjun Das expresses his frustration to his friend, “I cannot stand her. She is like a character right out of a crazy film.”

Then, we learn why Arjun Das is the way he is. We are given a glimpse into the actor’s past romance and heartbreak. Cut to present, he tells Aditi Shankar, “Love, healing, and all the nonsense. I do not want any of it. Leave me alone.” She tells him, “You are taking me for granted because I am chasing you. What would you do if I stopped chasing you?” He confidently says, “You will not stop.” She presses him, “What if I stop?” He assures her, “I will come looking for you.” 

Earlier speaking about the flick director Vignesh Srikanth disclosed, “Once More will be in the lines of Mani Ratnam sir’s O Kadhal Kanmani. I have tried to capture the difficulties and complexities in today’s relationships. Also, the magical moments that only transpire when two polar-opposite personalities fall in love.” The casting crew of Once More also has actors Sona Olickal, Dravid Selvam, Devadarshini, Anusha Prabhu, and Chitra Lakshmanan. 

Music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab has handled musical instruments for the film. Already six singles ‘Vaa Kannamma’ in the voice of Uthara Unnikrishnan, ‘Edhira Pudhira’ crooned by D Sathyaprakash, ‘Meenduma’ in the vocals of Aavani Malhar, ‘Idhayam’ crooned by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Miss Oruthi in the voice of Naresh Iyer, and ‘Indra’ sung by Hanan Shaah, is out from the album. Director Vignesh Srikanth himself has written lyrics for all the tracks. 

Cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan has cranked the camera for the movie. Editor Nash has been contracted to chop and patch the film. Art director Raj Kamal has engineered sets for the drama. Once More is funded by Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banner house Million Dollar Studios along with V R Vamsi for the production label FYNTEMAX. 

On the work front, actor Arjun Das is awaiting his digital release Love filmed by Balaji Mohan in which he has performed with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi. The Master actor is presently engrossed in Superhero helmed by Vignesh Venugopal in which he will be collaborating with actress Teju Ashwini, Kaithi 2 directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in which he will be reuniting with actor Karthi, two of his Malayalam movies Torpedo scripted by Tharun Moorthy in which he will be seen alongside actor Fahadh Faasil, and Bilal helmed by Amal Neerad in which he will be associating with actors Mammooty & Mamta Mohandas. 

On the other hand, actress Aditi Shankar is now focused on a couple of her untitled entertainers under the direction of Ram Kumar in which she will be romancing actor Vishnu Vishal, and another project created by M Rajesh in which she will be joining forces with actor Atharvaa Murali.
