Immortal Trailer: A Sinister, Paranormal Presence Traps G V Prakash Kumar Inside An Apartment!
Actor G V Prakash Kumar last graced the silver screens in the romantic comedy film Happy Raj created by newbie director Maria Raja Elanchezian with actress Sri Gouri Priya as female lead. The Bruce Lee actor is now looking forward to the release of his next horror comedy movie titled Immortal. Debutant story teller director Mariyappan Chinna has written and directed the flick. Actress Kayadu Lohar of Dragon fame has starred as the female lead in the film.
Filming for the project took place predominantly in Chennai and parts of Kerala. Immortal is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on 4th of September. The makers have been promoting the film by releasing a teaser and a couple of singles from the album. They have now released the trailer of the entertainer on social media.

The nearly three minute trailer of Immortal starts with a tribal man trying to be romantic with a tribal woman in a meadow. The shot cuts to actress Kayadu Lohar calling G V Prakash Kumar about his need for co-living space. He enquires her, “How many guys are sharing your room?” She responds, “How many guys? Sir, I live alone.”
He visits the apartment to check it out. A gorgeous Kayadu Lohar, sporting a sweaty-skin look welcomes and asks him, “When are you going to shift?” He quips, “I have already shifted.” Then we see him groveling to her. She indulges him by asking him to call her baby. Subsequently, Aaditya Kathir asks G V Prakash Kumar, “I asked you to show me your room. You are showing me a five-star hotel.”
He tells him, “If you are surprised by this, you will be envious when I tell you about the owner. If I ask for a cigarette, she gives me one. If I ask for a beedi, she will give me that too.” Aaditya Kathir asks him, “You say she looks beautiful, and has substantial wealth. Why don’t you marry her?” The trailer ends with Kayadu Lohar telling G V Prakash Kumar, “What you said is true Magi. There are a lot of mosquitoes in my room. So, I have decided to sleep in your room with you.”
The casting team of the film also has actors Aaditya Kathir, Kumar Natarajan, T M Karthik, Arshu Maharjan, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Sunita Shrestha, and Pema. Music director Sam C S has composed music for the flick. Already two soundtracks ‘Loveu Loveu Kaatteri’ sung by Sam C S lyrics inked by Shalli C, and ‘She Is My Chellakutty’ crooned by Adithya R K lyrics penned by Sam C S & Thamizh Aadhavan, is out from the album. Cinematographer Arun Radhakrishnan has been behind the lens for the movie.
Editor Rajesh M has been contracted to edit the entertainer. Art director Siva Sankar has fashioned background for the drama. Stunt masters G N Murugan and R Sakthi Saravanan have designed action blocks in the flick. Immortal is backed by Arunkumar Dhanasekaran under the production studio AK Film Factory. B Sakthivelan is presenting the movie under his home banner Sakthi Film Factory.
On the work side, actor G V Prakash Kumar is awaiting the premiere of Mental Manadhil filmed by Selvaraghavan in which he has romanced actress Madhuri Jain, Vekkai scripted by Akiran Moses in which he has featured alongside actors Sreenath Bhasi & Sunil, Aayiram Jenmangal helmed by Ezhil in which he has collaborated with actresses Eesha Rebba & Sakshi Agarwal, and Adangathey crafted by Shanmugam Muthuswamy in which he has worked with actress Surbhi Chandra. The Kalvan actor is presently busy with his next untitled flick directed by Hariharan Ram in which he will be appearing alongside actress Malavika Manoj, and Kadhalikka Yarumillai created by Kamal Prakash in which he will be starring with actress Raiza Wilson.
On the other hand, actress Kayadu Lohar will soon have a release in Mollywood via I’m Game scripted by Nahas Hidhayath in which she has associated with actor Dulquer Salmaan, and in Tollywood via The Paradise helmed by Srikanth Odela in which she has partnered with actor Nani. The Idhayam Murali actress is concurrently shooting for her next Tamil film provisionally titled Suriya 48 filmed by T J Gnanavel in which she will be joining forces with actor Suriya, Manjanathi helmed by Mari Selvaraj in which she will be collaborating with actors Kathir & Priyanka Arulmohan, and a Malayalam drama created by Vinay Govind in which she will be working with actors Nivin Pauly & Nikhila Vimal.
