First Single ‘Karuppu Aadu’ From Vaibhav’s Maaruvesham Is Out!
Actor Vaibhav was last seen on screen in the comedy heist flick Chennai City Gangsters created by Vikram Rajeshwar & Arun Keshav with actress Athulya Ravi as female lead. The Ranam Aram Thavarel actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming investigative murder mystery thriller movie christened Maaruvesham. Kannada director Srini will be making his debut as a story teller in Kollywood with the venture. Writer S Isaiamudan has helped structure the screenplay of the flick.
Actress Viyana of Bigg Boss Tamil fame is set to make her feature film debut with her female lead role in the project. Filming for the drama took place across several locations in Chennai. An official release date for the entertainer is expected to be revealed shortly. Meanwhile, the makers have been promoting the movie by sharing the first look poster and a title teaser for the entertainer on social media. They have now unveiled the first single from the album.
Taking to his official X account, music composer G V Prakash Kumar dropped a special poster along with a link to the first single ‘Karuppu Aadu’ from Maaruvesham and wrote, “Presenting the First Single Karuppu Aadu Lyrical Song Video of Maaruvesham. Singer Mark Antony Thomas has sung the song along with rapper Sai Zakaz. Lyricist Mohan Rajan has written the lyrics of the track. While Sai Zakaz has penned the rap portion. Music director Rajkumar Amal has been roped in to score music for the venture.
The animated title teaser of the flick which released earlier showed a giant hand abruptly taking tiny characters from their activities and placing them near a dead body, ending with actor Vaibhav sitting across from a masked person in a black hat.
Besides Vaibhav and Viyana, the star cast of the drama also has actors Ramki, Vivek Prasanna, George Maryan, Munishkanth Ramdoss, George V, Indhumathi Manikandan, Livingston, Sebastian, Cell Murugan, and Mu Ramasamy portraying various supporting roles.
Cinematographer Balaji K Raja has headed the cinematography division of the entertainer. Editor N B Srikanth has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the flick. Art director Manikandan Srinivasan has engineered sets for the movie.
Action masters Dinesh Kasi and Ganesh have served as the stunt coordinators for the project. The film is backed by Vaibhav himself under the banner house Monkey Man Company in partnership with Vijay Anand for the production house Oneiromancy Pictures.
On the professional front, actor Vaibhav is awaiting the release of his long-delayed dramas Aalambana helmed by story teller Pari K Vijay in which he will be seen alongside actress Parvati Nair, and Ace Raja Rani Jackie And Joker crafted by director Anil Sunkara in which he has shared screen space with actors Shaam, Vimala Raman, & Sneha Ullal.
