Last year February, the Malayalam film industry faced a huge shocker with actress Bhavana being sexually harassed and with top actor Dileep being a part of a plan to abuse her.
Lots of events unfolded and the actor was ousted from AMMA association, and was jailed and came out after being in jail for more than two months. He was changed from main accused to eighth accused.
Besides there was a huge uproar against him being reinstated into AMMA by new leader Mohanlal following which there was a cold war between Women’s collective of cinema WCC and Amma.
Following the exit of actresses like Rima Kallingal and Remya Nambeesan from AMMA and fighting by actresses like Revathy and Parvathy, finally, Dileep himself has Sent his resignation letter from AMMA to Mohanlal and action will be taken on this letter and processing of his resignation request on October 27 meeting.
The actor has now resigned from the industry. It seems he will never act anymore and he has withdrawn from all the posts he occupied in the industry too. The actor got support from Mohanlal and due to that, he faced more heat too. Recently, he was blessed with a baby girl with his wife Kavya Madhavan.
