The trailer of actor Vijay’s most awaited film of the year Beast is out and the festive has begun for his fans already. Usually there would be grand audio launch function before the release of actor Vijay’s film. Though there were news that the production unit is planning on a massive audio launch event, nothing took off. The aficionados of the star actor were shocked and disappointment that the production house skipped the audio launch function. So, they lit the streets with the celebration mood by arranging for special screening of the trailer in theaters and set up large screens on the streets to screen the trailer. Hundreds of the star’s diehard followers gathered to make the trailer launch a special event.
Actor Vijay plays a superspy in the flick who shows no mercy to those on his way trying to obstruct him from doing his duty. The couple of minutes trailer is action packed. A unit of terrorists enter a mall while the Christmas celebration is underway and bring it under their control. They have taken the crowd hostages. The intelligences team gets to business and comes to know that one of their men is in as a hostage. Bang! We have the introduction of Veera Raghavan, the character played by Vijay. He gets to action straightaway. Draws couple of knifes and smacks few terrorists in his attempt to free the hostages. Watch the trailer here.
The actor seems to have undergone a changeover in his appearance for the role. He looks smart and chic. Already the expectations on the film are quite high with rockstar Anirudh Ravichander’s tracks ‘Arabic Kuthu’ and ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ being in the trending list ever since their release. Many celebrities in the industry have been shaking their legs to the songs – particularly for Arabic Kuthu – and are uploading the video of it to their social media handle. His getup in the film has amplified the excitement of the fans. And all their attention is already set on the opening date of the online ticket booking counter. Director Nelson is teaming up with superstar Vijay for the first time. But the director is joining hands with rockstar Anirudh Ravichander for the third time in Beast after Kolamaavu Kokila, and Doctor. Apart from actor Vijay the film has actress Pooja Hegde essaying the female lead. Story teller Selvaraghavan has played the antagonist role. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, Shaji Chen, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Lilliput Faruqui, Ankur Ajit Vikal, Sathish Krishnan, Bjorn Surrao, Sunil Reddy, Shiva Arvind, Sujatha Babu, Smruthi, Janani Durga, Madhuri Watts, and Hasini Pavithra. Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa has cranked the camera for the film. Editor R. Nirmal will be taking care of the editing department. The entertainer is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner house Sun Pictures.
On the work front, the actor who is set to have a release in the likes of Beast will soon begin shooting for his next untitled project which is set to be helmed by story teller Vamshi Paidipally in which he will be romancing actress Rashmika Mandanna.
