Actor Guru Somasundaram had a release earlier this year in a supporting role in the political satire drama My Lord helmed by director Raju Murugan with actors Sasikumar and Chaithra J Achar in lead roles. The Bottle Radha actor is now getting ready for the release of his next film titled Paris Cafe in which he has played the lead role. Debutant storyteller Saraj Seelan has inked and crafted the movie.
Malayalam actress Anumol K Manoharan of Haraa fame has essayed the female lead role in the entertainer. The shoot for the drama extensively took place across various places in Chennai and Pondicherry. The production house is making moves to bring the film to theaters in the month of July. An official date for the release of the movie is expected to be announced soon. Meanwhile, they have now released the first single from the entertainer on social media.
Taking to his official X handle, director Karthik Subbaraj shared a special poster along with a link to the song Azhagazhagai Manam from Paris Cafe and worded, “Happy to launch the 1st single from Paris Cafe Azhaga Azhagai Manam! Singers Kapil Kapilan, Gayathree, and Dr. Oviya Saravana Raj have sung the song. Lyricist Vivek Velmurugan has written lyrics for the track. The number is mixed by Akilesh A R and mastered by Ananthakrishnan. Dance master Prasanth has choreographed dance moves for the track. Music composer K has been signed in to handle musical gears for the drama.
Apart from Guru Somasundaram and Anumol K Manoharan, the star cast of Paris Cafe also has actors Vijay Vishwa, Sai Vicky, Archana Kumar, and Nayana Sai in various supporting parts. Cinematographer Sathish Babu has worked on the cinematography department of the flick. Editor V J Sabu Joseph has been brought on board to oversee the editing division of the movie.
Art director Dhamu MFA has erected sets for the film. Stunt master Action Sandhosh has designed action moves for the drama. Paris Cafe is backed by Kanmani Ranganathan under the banner house L V Entertainment, in association with Vengal M Lingeshwaran for the production house Thunder Media.
On the professional front, actor Guru Somasundaram is eagerly expecting the release of Demonte Colony 3 scripted by Ajay Gnanamuthu in which he has collaborated with actors Arulnithi & Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kaagangal helmed by Anand Annamalai in which he has joined forces with actors Yogi Babu & Lijo Mol Jose, and a Telugu flick Dragon filmed by Prashanth Neel in which he has costarred with actor N T Rama Rao Jr. The Kudumbasthan actor is now shooting for his next Telugu flick Mysaa directed by Rawindra Pulle in which he will be working with actresses Rashmika Mandanna & Easwari Rao, and Ameerakathil Seethai helmed by Sunil V Raman in which he will be featuring alongside actresses Ramya Suresh & Raksha Cherin.
