Arjun Das’s Next Project Goes On The Floors!

Actor Arjun Das had his last outing in the romantic musical movie Once More helmed by Vignesh Srikanth with actress Aditi Shankar in the female lead role. The Con City actor has now inked his signature for his next project provisionally titled Silver Tree Studios Production 01. Director Ranjit Jeyakodi, who has previously delivered critically acclaimed projects like Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum and Michael, is helming the drama. The movie’s story credit is also attributed to him. 

Telugu actress Preethi Pagadala will be making her debut in Tamil cinema with her female lead role in the entertainer. We now have news that the film has gone into production with a small puja ceremony. The production house themselves has shared the news on social media, along with a video capturing special moments from the puja event. 

Taking to their official X timeline, the Silver Tree Studios team dropped a puja ceremony video for Silver Tree Studios Production 01 and worded, “A new chapter. A new story. A whole new world. Presenting you all the glimpse of the poojai. Arjun Das walks you through the Silver Tree Studios Production 01 pooja. In association with POP Entertainment. A film by Ranjit Jeyakodi. A Sean Roldan musical. Preethi Pagadala, Mohan Rajan, Harish Durairaj, Nithya Venkadesan, K S Ravikumar, Mona Bedre, Ashwini Nambiar, Yogi Babu, Bala Saravanan, Jagan Krishnan, Vijay M P, Silver Tree Studios, Sony Music South India, Yuvraaj.” Here is the post made by the production unit. 

The two minutes odd puja ceremony video begins with actor Arjun Das getting ready for the event and telling the cameraman, “Hey, what are you doing here? Did they ask you to record it right from here?” Someone tells him, “Let us go before the auspicious time ends.” He responds, “No. Good time has just begun. Come, let us go.” He gets into the car, finds the camera crew, then tells them, “Hey, you are here too? This is too much. It is okay. Come, let us go.”

They arrive at the event. Arjun Das speaks to the camera, “Wondering where we are heading? We are going to the puja of a new film. Come with me.” The puja ceremony was graced by actors Manikandan, Vikram Prabhu, and Harish Kalyan, and directors Ram & Soundarya Rajinikanth. The video ends with director Ram asking, “Will you use the clapperboard just today or during the entire shoot?”

Apart from Arjun Das and Preethi Pagadala, the star cast of the flick also has actors K S Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Bala Saravanan, Ashwini Nambiar, Mona Bedre, Dhanya Pallath, Jagan Krishnan, Saravanan, and Vj Nikki depicting various supporting roles. Music composer Sean Roldan has been hired to handle musical instruments for the movie. Cinematographer Kavin Raj is taking care of the cinematography division of the movie. 

Editor Arul Moses A has been trusted with the editing department of the film. Art director Pappanadu C Uthayakumar is designing sets for the drama. Stunt master Dinesh Kasi is choreographing action blocks in the venture. The project is funded by Vijay M P and Shanmuga Priyan under the production house Silver Tree Studios, in affiliation with Praveen Banu for the production company Pop Entertainment. 

On the work front, actor Arjun Das is anticipating his digital release Love directed by Balaji Mohan in which he has joined forces with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi. The Por actor is now engaged in his future Tamil film Superhero crafted by Vignesh Venugopal in which he will be featuring with actress Teju Ashwini, a couple of his Malayalam ventures Torpedo helmed by Tharun Moorthy in which he will be collaborating with actor Fahadh Faasil, Bilal scripted by Amal Neerad in which he will be appearing alongside actors Mammooty & Mamta Mohandas, and a Hindi movie Don 3: The Final Chapter filmed by Farhan Akhtar in which he will be partnering with actors Vijay Deverakonda, Kiara Advani, & Kriti Sanon. 

On the other hand, actress Preethi Pagadala is eagerly awaiting the release of her next Telugu Kannada bilingual flick 418 created by Kirtan Nadagouda in which she has worked with actors Surya Raj & Chaithra J Achar.
