Sunny Leone has a notorious reputation of making her fans go crazy at just hearing her name. The Canadian born Indian-American actress became popular in India after being a part of Hindi Big Boss reality show hosted by star actor Salman Khan. In the year 2014 director Saravana Rajan introduced her to the Tamil audience through a sizzling item number in his film Vadacurry. The actress paired up with actor Jai for the item number, “Low Aana Lifeu.” The news of her shaking her leg for a song in the Tamil cinema headlined many cinema columns in the town. Apparently, despite a middling score the song became a huge hit and clocked millions of views in social media. Now, after nearly 9 years the actress is set to return to Kollywood with her debut lead role in OMG – Oh My Ghost. The entertainer is directed by director Yuvan of Sindhanai Sei fame.
The project which went on floors a long time ago, after many delays has finally been done and dusted for release. Now, the production house has dropped the teaser of the flick on social media. Actor Arya unveiled the teaser. The actor took to his official twitter account and shared the teaser of the drama and wrote, “Glad to release this quirky grandeur Sunny Leone Oh My God teaser.” Here is the teaser shared by the actor.
The one minute odd short video opens with the voiceover of actor Yogi babu asking, “Have you ever seen Mayasena?” Following it we get the introduction of actress Sunny Leone with the tag ‘Hottest Ghost Ever.’ We witness the actress walking towards her throne and sitting on it with elegance. Yogi Babu’s voiceover continues, “Queen is like this only in the night. In the morning, she would be traditional.” The teaser ends with actress Sunny Leone kicking henchmen. OMG – Oh My Ghost is said to be about an arrogant ancient queen. Speaking about the entertainer, director Yuvan stated, “OMG – Oh My Ghost will happen both in the ancient time and in the present. Actress Sunny Leone has done an amazing job as Queen Mayasena. I am confident here fans will definitely love watching her in the role.”
Apart from actress Sunny Leone, the casting department of the flick has actors Sathish, Yogi Babu, Mottai Rajendran, Ravi Maria, Arjunan, Sanjana Singh, Tiger Thangadurai, Ramesh Thilak, G. P. Muthu, and Cook with Comali fame Dharsha Gupta essaying various other supporting roles. Music director Javed Riaz has composed the music for the entertainer. Cinematographer Deepak D. Menon has shouldered the camera for the movie. Editor Venkat Rajen will be taking care of the editing division of the drama. The venture is produced by Veera Shakthi for the production house Vau Media Entertainment along with K Sasi Kumar of White Horse Studios.
On the work front, actress Sunny Leone who was last seen on screens in a special number in Motichoor Chaknachoor is currently busy shooting for several projects across multiple languages. The actress is shooting for her upcoming Tamil project christened Veeramadevi under the direction of film maker Vadivudaiyan in which she will be playing the lead role, for a couple of her Malayalam dramas Shero directed by story teller Sreejith Vijayan, and for Rangeela under director Santhosh Nair. Apart from these ventures she has few Telugu ventures titled Koka Kola filmed by T. L. V. Prasad, Helen scripted by Saurabh Choudhary, and Ginna helmed by Suryaah in which she will be sharing the screen space with actors Vishnu Manchu and Payal Rajput, a Kannada project named Champion, and a hot item number in The battle of Bhima Koregaon.
