Actor Sundeep Kishan had his last outing in the likes of the hyperlink drama Kasada Thapara which hit the Sony Liv OTT platform under the directorial of Chimbu Deven. The movie opened to mixed reviews, and is yet to draw the attention of the audience. Actor Vijay Sethupathi was last seen on screens in the family drama Maamanithan which hit the theaters under the direction of Seenu Ramasamy with actress Gayathrie as the female lead. Now, both Sundeep Kishan and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen together in the Tamil Telugu bilingual venture Michael. Director Ranjit Jeyakodi has directed the film. The production house had recently released the teaser of the drama, which has clocked millions of views.
Now, the production unit has unveiled the trailer of the movie on social media along with its release date. Michael is slated to hit the theaters on 2nd of February this year. Actor Vijay Sethupathi himself has shared the news. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor shared the trailer of the drama and wrote, “My dearest Ranjit Jeyakodi‘s world of fire, blood & love. Michael trailer. The over two-minutes trailer opens in a seashore to the shot of a boys’ leg with a Walkman lying on sand beside him. The scene cuts to actor Gautham Vasudev Menon asking, “Michael have you heard of black widow spiders? After they make love, the female spider will kill off the male. Such poison.” Actor Sundeep Kishan has got in shape to play his part in the movie, and looks menacing in the trailer. The trailer looks technically sound as well. It has gone viral and has already clocked millions of views.
Apart from actors Sundeep Kishan, and Vijay Sethupathi, Michael has actress Divyansha Kaushik portraying the female lead role. The casting division of the movie has actors Gautham Vasudev Menon, Varun Sandesh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in various other supporting parts. The music for the film has been composed by music director Sam C S. Cinematographer Kiran Koushik has been behind the lens for the flick. Editor R. Sathyanarayanan has edited the drama. The entertainer is produced by Bharath Chowdary and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the production label Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP along with Karan of C Productions LLP production house. Narayan Das K Narang will be presenting the project.
On the work front, actor Sundeep Kishan who was last seen on screens in Tamil cinema in the anthology film Kasada Thapara is currently busy shooting for his next Tamil drama titled Captain Miller under the direction of director Arun Matheswaran in which he will be collaborating with actor Dhanush, and for his Telugu flick christened Ooru Peru Bhairavakona crafted by storyteller V. I. Anand in which he will be seen alongside actresses Kavya Thapar and Varsha Bollamma. Apart from these projects, the actor has Naragasooran helmed by Karthick Naren in which he has co starred with actors Aravind Swamy, Shriya Saran, and Aathmika in the box waiting to see the light of day.
On the other hand, actor Vijay Sethupathi who had his last outing in DSP is gearing up for a successive release in the likes of Viduthalai directed by auteur Vetrimaaran in which he has collaborated with actor Soori, and his Hindi web series Farzi helmed by director Krishna D. K. The actor is currently busy shooting for his Hindi project christened Jawan under the directorial of story teller Atlee in which he will be seen alongside actor Shah Rukh Khan, for Mumbaikar crafted by director Santhosh Sivan, for Gandhi Talks scripted by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, and for Merry Christmas. Finishing these movies, he will soon join the sets of director Sundar C for part four of Aranmanai.
